BMC Matte Finish UV/LED Nail Lacquer Gel Polish Top Coat

This has a very strong smell which is what I like the least about this product. It won't make your nails as matte as a regular nail polish, but it's definitely not the high gloss of regular gel topcoat. I did two coats of the matte in the photo, but it still didn't get as matte as I wanted. I had some issues with weird lumps in it, but after giving it a longer shake, it smoothed out. I may try some other brands.

Not a super matte top coat, kind of like a semi-matte. Very smooth application and self-leveling. However, it is not as smooth once it is cured. There may be a spot that is dented for some reasons even though I check very carefully before curing. Other than that, it is doing a good job. I have them on for a week and no signs of lifting or chipping. The nail polish was bundle monster Gentle Tranquility and topped with bundle monster matte top coat, the base coat was also from bundle monster.

Most air drying matte polishes and top coats achieve the matte look by having an ingredient added that causes the effect. Often it's a kind of starch. This stuff looks like that. It does not dry clear and lays streakily on the nail. It's transparent but looks like it has flour mixed in. It definitely mattes the nail, but it looks like crap. I tried mine over a dark brown BMC gel polish, looking forward to that leather effect. Nope.The good news? You can apply a shiny gel top coat, and it's like it was never there at all!

Not as matte as I had hoped but still ok and it lasts without adding any other top coat to it!

Does a good job at making nail colors matte but it took me 2 coats for the matte I think it should be.

It smears stamping designs. Beware!
