Q: Can anyone get the stand to work? Ours has the part that clasps the doll facing sideways...

It's super flimsy, but with some effort we get it to work. The two pieces (the clear post that holds the doll and the white disc in which the pole is inserted) become separated really easily, and my daughter has almost lost the white disc part too times to count now. Not sure what you mean by the clasp part facing sideways. The parts move in the doll and the stand so that's all very adjustable. Love the quality of the doll but the stand is sub par!

Got this doll from usa for £26 inc p&p. Bargain.She is gorgeous. Why doesnt the UK get the same Barbies over here? Love the swan lake and the nutcracker dolls but they are so expensive here due to shipping. This one is gorgeous. Comes with a stand for posing her on.
