Ray-Ban Rx6392 Ja-jo Round Prescription Eyeglass Frames

Ray Ban finally replaced the discontinued W0607 frame with this one: RB6392 (aka RX6392)For many years RB3447 was the replacement for the discontinued W0607 frame. For 15 years I kept hunting for the old W0607 frames on eBay.For 40+ years I have been using these "wire" style frames from Ray Ban for my prescription glasses. For the last 25 years I've used model W0607 because its arms can be bent to fit me perfectly. Everyone's face, nose, and head are shaped differently, so it's necessary to bend the arms and the nose piece for a perfect fit.In 1999, Bausch & Lomb sold Ray Ban to Luxottica and soon after W0607 was discontinued and replaced with RB3447. RB3447 had a different arm design and construction, and it was no good for many people because its arms can't be bend in certain ways.Because of this for many years the price of W0607 kept on rising on eBay. People needed the old flexible (bendable) arms. The old W0607 frame is still highly sought after and expensive on eBay today.In 2017 Ray Ban finally realized the arms of the old W0607 were better, so they created RB6392.I still like the vintage W0607 slightly better than the new RB6392, but the differences are now very minor (in size, nose piece, circular shape). My husband wanted the eyeglass frames and they're very good.

I do not know if the product is original because the really law quality of the glasses. Also the glasses case has a weird smell and left little hair all over the glass lent. The design of the glasses and their case do not follow the original one from the website. I am so sorry to say, that I am about to return them tomorrow!

We bought these to get prescription lenses put in - progressive bifocal lenses- and they worked really well. My daughter gets compliments on them all the time. If you or someone you know is a Harry Potter fan these are AMAZING for them.
