Steppenwolf (Modern Library, 334.1)

The copy I purchased was used but in fine shape. I just got it to replace my old version that was falling apart. I love this book, especially the first half. Highly recommended for tortured artists, wistful wanderers, and angry loners.

Wow!

I read this a long time ago. The late 60s. I liked it so much, and it influenced my thinking so much, that I read pretty well all the other Hesse books I could find. So, I was surprised by how much less radical it seems these days. Anyway, a good book and worth reading.
