एक किताब हिंदी में जब लिखा गया है इसकी समीक्षा(review) हिंदी में की जानी चाहिए। दुनिया माया से भरा हुआ है। कभी कभी कायरता जीवन भर का दुख देता है।यह कहानी लोगों के लालच के बारे में हैनिष्पक्ष तरीके से लिखामैंने अपना जीवन मंजरी और अविनाश के करीब पाया, आप अपने आप को शोवा के स्थान पर पा सकते हैं।प्रत्येक चरित्र ऐसा है जिसे आप जानते हैं।माँ और पिता को बच्चे की खुशी के बारे में सोचना चाहिए , लेकिन प्यार में अंधा नहीं होना चाहिए।दुविधा सोचने वाली बात है , विशेष रूप से हमारे समय में । प्यार में जोखिम कब लेना है ? या परिवार के बारे में सोचना हैं?लेखिका के लेखन में बंगला भाषा प्रभाव है

My grandmother used to read Shivani s books.I was fascinated as a child .so got an opportunity .I like the way she gives the detail description of the pahadi life.Besides I like the simple style if her writing.The plot was almost on familiar lines.

Amazon service is excellent, I received the book very nicely packed and on time.As for the book, it is from one of my favorite Hindi Writer Shivani and though I love her writing style, the sad ending was very depressing. I wish it had a different ending but don't we all wish for that :)

Shivani jee knew how to turn emotions into words. Highly recommended. Such a pleasing feeling you get after reading such Hindi Novels.

शिवानी वह पारस पत्थर है जो काले अक्षरों को कनक बना देती है। मैला आँचल जिनकी पसंदीदा है शायद इस उपन्यास को पढ़कर उनकी पसंद बदल जाएगी। इस लेखिका को न वह विमर्श मिला न वह चर्चा मिली न वह सम्मान मिला जिसकी वह पूरी तरह हक़दार थी।शायद साहित्य संसार की राजनीति से दूर रहना उनके लिए अभिशाप बन गया।लेकिन पाठकों के लिए वह अनमोल ही रहेंगी।और इस उपन्यास के लिए दिवंगत लेखिका को हृदय से आभार।

This is a fairly nice novel by Shivani. It carries her typical flow and language style, so if you like that you will enjoy this book. I think, this is not one of her better novels but still quite enjoyable. The print quality is quite good on Kindle with a few words misspelled but the meaning of those words is clear from context.
