... price of these shoes I would say that they're great as general walking shoes
For the price of these shoes I would say that they're great as general walking shoes, haven't really tried them for running though (I have another pair from ASICS that are MUCH more comfortable but a bit more expensive). The last pair of ASICS I had purchased, which were a bit cheaper, had a bad insole that qualified for immediate replacement; however these insoles are much more comfortable and may last me a few months before I consider replacing them for a pair of work insoles. I've also noticed that there is much more support in my walk with this pair, making it easier to hit the concrete floors I work on daily. After I have worn this pair for some time I definitely plan on replacing them with the same pair.

Great product, great value
I helped my husband select his new running shoes. His needs and the shoe's features are a perfect fit. We ordered a second pair right away so that he can alternate the two pair while he is training. He had no problem with needing to break in the shoes and was able to take them from the box and go out for a couple hour run. Needless to say he is a fan and thinks I'm a hero for pointing him in this direction.

Feel like running on clouds.
Be aware that these shoes are for natural runners and not for heel strikers. That being said, I love my pair of 33-Ms. I alternate them with my pair of 33-FAs. Because of the 33-M's thicker layer of cushioning, they feel like running on clouds. However, because of that thick sole, you'll look an inch taller. We get pretty harsh winters where I live, so I use the treadmill for 5 months out of the year. I can't run in them on a treadmill. The extra cushion of the shoes combined with the cushioning of the treadmill's surface will feel like running on fluffy sand.

Walking/Running/Standing on clouds....
These soles are amazing. You sink into them as you walk, run, stand.... If I could find slip-on work shoes with these soles, I'd be in heaven. They seem to be getting softer with use. Good wide toe box for splay. Hope they last.

good shoes
These are really comfortable shoes. Be aware they have a very low "heel drop" meaning your foot is more level with the floor (I think they are a 4mm drop, while my other running shoes are 12mm drop). If your tendons start to get aggravated wearing these, that could be why. But I like them and so far they feel fine.

Good Roomy and Cushioned Trainer
I'm 5'10" and 210 pounds (and shrinking) with a half marathon PR of 1:43 after running for only two years. Being a bigger runner I need the extra cushion for longer training runs.So I've ran in the Hoka Conquest and Odyssey's. They both consistently gave me blisters on my small toes on each foot. I loved the impact attenuation they provided but needed a better fit in the forefoot.Enter Asics 33-M..Better fit with a roomier toebox. No blisters for me anymore. These aren't as soft as the Hoka Conquest and Odyssey's but still provide enough impact attenuation. They're a little heavier too due to the outsole being thicker than the Hoka Conquest and Odyssey's. I should get better mileage out of these as well.My first run was a short 5 miler at a 7:30 mile pace. The shoes felt great... Just a little stiff. I'm sure they'll feel better after breaking them in a bit. I certainly appreciate the gentle price tag on these.Warning.. These run a half size larger to me. Had to exchange them for a smaller size.

Does the job
Great shoe, a little heavy but very comfortable....the sole is thicker than expected but it's not a factor unless your after a pair of trendy minimalist shoes. Real good shoe for a heavy runner, buff or overweight, heavy is heavy.

Fantastic!
This is my second pair of 33-M. They fit me perfectly. Wide toe box, heel is snug, and the cushioning is sublime. I work 12 hour shifts at night at a local hospital, and spend the majority of that time on my feet. These shoes really help get me through the night. Instead of barking dogs, at most it's just a wimper. Price is great, too. Well worth the investment!
