I bought this fixture to replace a lighted ceiling fan in the small dinette of a knotty-pine cottage. The fan was a good quality one that worked just fine, but it was much too big for the space. I wanted something smaller that would complement the 50s charm we love about the place. This turned out to be the perfect solution. Not only is it in proportionate, it added a touch of formality that elevated the dining nook to a dining room.I spent a bit more than I budgeted for this fixture, but no regrets.. It looks like I spent more than I did!The brown covering on the shade is a thin veneer of cork, so be prepared for light to shine through it. I was surprised by this, but I like the warm glow it generates and the pattern adds interest. The frosted under-plate softens the light from the bulbs, so it can be as bright as you need/want without harshness.I think this light fixture could transform a room all by itself.

I really like the look of this lamp and it worked well on the sloped ceiling. I would buy again for sure. My issue is not with the lamp but with how the centers of a dining area are never in the center so that they work with a hanging light. We are hoping we can adapt this lamp to a chain as opposed to the stationary drop. This way we can swag it to the middle of the table. Also first order arrived with a broken piece of glass but replacement was quick and painless.

We used this light to replace an old black metal chandelier in a smaller dining room with a small table. We were afraid that it would be too large and make the room appear smaller. Ironically, it has the opposite effect. The room has wood trim and earth tones, this fits perfectly. A little tricky to install due to our ceiling, but some tips by recent reviewers did indeed help, Really enjoy it.

I’ve never been this excited about a light fixture. I have been in the process of trying to update my home—esp the kitchen during dull stretches of pandemic and winter. So this has led me to “de-Tuscan-ize” my home.Before we installed this beautiful light, I had the standard five bulb oil rubbed bronze chandelier thing with frosted white shades. Yawn.Now! This! I think the attached photos speak for how eye catching this light is. Even better is how it accommodates the new LED bulbs readily. And offers tremendous illumination. The manufacturer thought well about how these bulbs can blind you. So the frosted glass plate at the bottom (photo 2) offers a means to offset that blinding led bulb effect—without making the throw of light less.I am so glad I bought this. And my goodness, I know it’s a higher price. But IMO it looks like a $400+ Fixture.Highly recommended!!! In short:1) easy to install2) contemporary and also fits new “transitional” decor3) works great w new LEDs—w/out “blinding”4) high quality & looks much more $$$$

Well made fixture that is very attractive with the bulbs off and even more so when lit.The light from the fixture is very even but a splash more on the ceiling and a little less on the floor balances very well with very with soft ambient light on the walls

Love the light but unfortunately just had it install, bought it in March 2022. There is a flaw on the diffuser that is white. Thought it was an incest inside but not, it is a flaw. Don’t know how to find if it is warranted or can I find a seller contact.

This lamp is so unique! It is very well made and just beautiful whether it is lit or not. I love the texture of the cork which is perfect for a dining room. Just gorgeous! It is adjustable to 3 settings. Buy it! You won’t regret it!

Upon receiving this light fixture I discovered an approx. 3" x 1' wide manufacturing defect in the cork. Basically this section of cork had separated which caused it to fold over on itself. But instead of fixing the problem like they should have they apparently ignored and shipped it out anyway. Then after installing the fixture and attempting to screw one of the 3 light bulbs I discovered yet another problem. I was unable to screw in one of my bulbs into the socket. The socket itself would just spin. Which meant that only two of the three sockets worked. Again, lousy quality control.The way I see it when I'm paying this kind of money I have a right to expect a product to be free of major defects. Sad!

Light fixture was missing parts and Kenroy asked me to uninstall the light fixture and return for a refund/exchange. I will not pay an electrican 3 times because of their error, all that is needed is a bolt and washer to hold the glass diffuser in place. Luckily Amazon stepped in and made it right!
