Titan RX 5 LB

I bought Titan Rx from a different company and that bag had issues germinating effectively. Granted, I did have a different approach - I pre-germinated the previous bag, then spread it and had tons of large bare spots. When I purchased this Titan Rx, I overseeded with it, I added fertilizer and milorganite (also used the first time), and ramped up my water schedule.The blades grow thin and fine at first, the more mature ones grew wider but they are still thin so it's soft. This is much more affordable than sodFor watering (So Cal): I started off on a 20 min soak in the morning, then after 2.5 hours, scheduled 5-10 mins/hour watering until sundown (I cut the time if it's cooler/overcast). Now I am currently bringing it down to 10 mins 3 times a day and slowly decreasing the watering from there. I mow it at 3". I'm really happy with it. I hope it can withstand the summer heat once I cut down watering even more.

Seeded this last Sunday after the heat wave was over. It’s Monday (8 days later) and I see high germination. I seeded with an aggressive starter ferti we from Scott’s 24-25-4 at about 3 lbs per 1000. Also put a few bags of soil and raked it all in. Set a timer to water every 4 hours for 10 5 minutes after a good soaking initially.So far it’s coming is very well , hopefully it maintains. I did through some humid acid and sea kelp stimulants 2 weeks prior.I’ll report if anything goes badly. So far I recommend it. Hopefully it lives up to shade and heat tolerance here in Atlanta... used some last year that did well until the insane heat wave and drought (didn’t water enough and lost a lot. In July it looked great though.

I live in a transition zone and tall fescue has always performed well. I bought this product because it is marketed as a spreading tall fescue. It's thin leafed, a pleasing color of green and does spread. It is a clumpy grass like fescues are and requires overseeing. I have bought this product multiple times.

Great grass seed for our lawn

I was in my home for 18 years before I came across this grass! It works beautifully, germinates very quickly, comes back swiftly after no rain and very little weeds mixed in! That's what I want from a grass seed and I'm willing to pay more for these kind of results!!!

Great product

Used this grass seed on my back yard. I had already seeded my yard with Titan fescue just needed a little more for the bare spots. Beautiful grass....
