The media could not be loaded.  I agonized for hours searching for something appropriate for a 60 year old overweight short lady! I’m 5’2” 170 lbs 38C and short waisted. This dress is absolutely great! I bought the XL and I couldn’t be happier! And the price is great!

This dress is beautiful. The color has a sheen to it that makes you stand out in the crowd. I will be wearing this dress to church when I am ushering.The length is okay for me because I am tall. I plan to purchase more colors.

The color is not as bright as pictured- it’s not as bright a purple. It’s much darker.It is very fitted through the chest- and the dress is quite long.I’m 5’ 6”- it hit the ground. I wore flats in the wedding picture because my cousin, sister, and bride are shorter than me. The length was perfect for me with 3” heels.My cousin and sister are about 2” shorter- and it dragged- they wore heels- and it still dragged a bit.The material is awesome- and I would suggest this a perfect winter church/wedding dress.Keep in mind if you have animals or brush up against anything- the dress will cling to everything- ie- you need a lint roller.And finally the fit- I’m 36H/38G bra size- in most shirts, I can wear a size large (12-14). I’m a size 16/18 in pants- I bought the Xl in the dress. It fit great through the hip because of the natural flow. It was tight through the chest and natural through the waist (the Picts shown without spanx- which will give a more flattering look)- I think it fit perfectly for my size.The neckline was higher than expected- no cleavage- which is perfect for a church dress/ formal occasion.My sister is a 32DDD- she wears a size 10 pants. She wore the size large in the dress- it fit her great too-I’d size based on your bust more than your hips- ie if you have smaller or fuller hips- the shape of the dress camouflages it. Base your size primarily on your chest and waist.The material gives, and it became more comfortable the longer it was worn. It is a very pretty dress that can easily be dressed up for special occasions.

this is a great dress for the price I ordered a medium because thing that cost little usually run small and I don't like a tight fit or it to short - this is a little large for me but i kept it as it is for a Masquerade Ball - so I put a hoop skirt slip under it and it came out great. I am 5"5' 125 lbs 63 years old. The gown came to my ankles - I also like because It is warm for the winter and covers me up in the cleavage, very comfortable. I usually wear a size six this is more like a size 8 for a size 6 you might want a small especially for someone younger. If I ordered again I would order a small.

I purchased this dress for a Winter Formal. It worked perfect and I received so many complements that night. I’m so happy I didn’t have to buy a maternity dress because this one has a lot of stretch to it. It’s a beautiful sapphire color which is very slimming. I’m glad I didn’t go with the color black because I have like 100 dresses that color already.It was a cold night since it does snow in Utah but I was kept warm. The material is great quality. Since it’s velvet the dress seemed a little heavy but that did not stop me from dancing the night away. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I order five dresses in blue for my nephew wedding and they are amazing! The fitting was outstanding and the color was beautiful. I highly recommend this dress to everyone.

I am 5'5" and 165. Usually a 10-12. Went up to large based on some reviews. Probably could have gotten away with a medium. Drape is lovely. Color match is good (got the red wine one). The v-neck is a little more conservative than photo depicts (even on my DD); which is FINE by me! COMFORTABLE! Arrived fast and free with Prime! And, arrived without wrinkles! Careful of static cling and this thing is heavy. Which would be perfect if I was 110 pounds in the MN winter! Still, a great date night, special occasion, or even dress it down to the office, kind of dress. I paired mine with a simple light girdle to smooth out my hips; cause I'm self-conscious. But, the weight and cut of the dress makes it quite forgiving.

I've been looking at these dresses for the past 3 years, reading all the reviews and slightly nervous about sizes, so I hadn't ordered them. My lovely husband gave me an Amazon card for Christmas, and I thought "what the heck?" Well as it turns out I have a good body for the size I chose. I went with 2X to make sure the arms were long enough.The dress is perfect for me, and because my house is cold and I work here, I followed a reviewer's advice and ordered a second in black. They are lovely, stretchy velvet and are like wearing a bathrobe around the house, only they look nicer!Now, I'm not overly big, not large in the bust and I have a short waist, all things that other's complained about were checks in my plus column. The waist gives me some shape--these are put on without any bra or shape wear, I don't do that anymore, the dress is on my natural body, sans bra. I absolutely love them, and i more wear available I'd have one in every colour, that's how nice they are. Goes to the floor on my 5.2 height, actually drags a bit. I don't believe this type of velvet shrinks, haven't washed them yet so I'll update after washing. The arms are stretchy enough I can pull up my sleeves like I like. And in this freaking COLD winter, they are warm and cozy.

Long sleeve Velvet Stretchy Tunic Dress...black. It's beautiful on. The material is luxuriously soft, heavy and stretchy; no fasteners, just slip on over your head. I normally wear an XL in Canadian sizes...size 12 pants and 40B bust size. I ordered a 2XL expecting to need to take material off the hem to expand the bodice. No need to do that! Hemming...yes. Expanding bodice...no. It fit perfectly around the waist and hips; hid any rolls of imperfection... nice. The bust is slightly loose because of the style. The gathers on the bodice will accommodate many cup sizes. The sleeves are too long. I'll ask the tailor to ruch the sleeves instead of cutting the material; give the arms some added style. I'm very pleased. Incredible price for a very comfortable, lovely evening dress.

Lovely color, lovely fabric, flowing, drapes beautifully. I am a 5 foot nine gal and the length from the shoulder to the waist band was too short the waistband ended up halfway across my bust. I contemplated having it altered but I did return this item, And it was returned quickly and refunded easily. Very happy with the transaction very sad to send it back.

I'm 5'7, ~125 lbs and ordered a size small. There is about an inch and half of clearance between the bottom of the dress and the floor. It looks a little too short when I wear flats but looks fine with heels (pictured).Pros:- The colour is very rich- I like the weight and feel of the fabric- Next day delivery!Cons:- On my body, the waist panel sits too high and is too short (uncomfortable and not really flattering)- I can't get the wrap neck to sit nicely (constantly fiddling with it) and the neckline is much more closed off (i.e., the "v" sits much higher) than what is shown on the model which makes it a little frumpy.- The sleeves are extremely baggy on me which adds to frumpI'm contemplating taking it in to change it into an off the shoulder item (if possible) as it would be much more flattering than the current wrap neckline.
