Better than the original design.
My original HD brackets were made of plastic and eventually broke. These are metal and feel quite sturdy. Time will tell, but I am optimistic that these will outlast the originals.

These are made of metal, not flimsy plastic. Old plastic ones broke. The shade is easier to lock in place than the old-style plastic ones.

Refasten your Hunter Douglas silhouette
My Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds were professionally installed 16 years ago. Now I have had one bracket that must have been damaged and I needed a replacement.

Solid metal
For years, we had our blind up w/plastic latches. This is MUCH better and we don't have to worry about them breaking!!

Instructions need help
Like the product however the instructions are terrible. VERY DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT.

Easy to install and use
Product meets expectations. Earlier versions of this bracket were, in a word, "awful". This metal version (others were plastic) was easy to install. Blinds fit well and removing blinds is a snap compared to the earlier versions. A bit pricey, but glad I bought them.
