MatalaHakko 25LP Air Pump

I was not too impressed with this pump. I have owned it for 2 years now running almost constantly. It is much louder than my Medo LA-80bn but that pump pushes more than 2x more air. It also needs new diaphragms frequently. Every time I replace the diaphragm it pushes out a lot of air for a month or so then slows down. I would spend the extra money and get a Medo or Alita air pump.

This didn't pump any air. We thought the fault was in the hose and bought a new hose as well as a new diffuser but that didn't resolve the issue. After calling the retailer, we were advised to disassemble the pump which I did and discovered a hose wasn't connected.

...last one lasted 4 years.

I did make a mistake thinking I was going to get a restocking fee so it turns out to be a fair deal

This pump is so great it is spectacularly boring. I have had it for over 10 years with zero drama. No thrills or chills from it going out on me and suffocating my fish. Quiet and efficient too! I am glad I got this for my 750 gallon very heavily stocked pond. I have about 20 large - +/- 20" koi, and never any trouble with this air pump. I have the difuser set at about 4' depth.

So i bought my first one two years ago ran three tanks off of it with air preasure to spare picked up a second one recently.They are work horses and last enough said.
