I am now the proud owner of yet another Berndes frying pan I have them in 3 different sizesAlthough you can put them in the dishwasher I prefer to wash by hand as they are so easy to cleanI love the detachable handles and it is well worth getting the corresponding glass lids to make perfect casserolesExpensive but worth every pennyI also have some very old Berndes pans which are still going strong after 20 odd years

I have an Aga and this is the perfect pan for use with it. The handle comes off so it can be put in the oven, or used on top as an ideal stir-fry pan, or to braise etc. A good all-rounder.

I bought this frying pan last August. As you can see in the photograph how uneven and warped the base has become and is actually separating. I have used this make of pan for many years and never has this happened before. I have only used this on a ceramic hob and treated it carefully and allowed it to cool before washing. So disappointed, and I have to wonder if it is a cheap copy!

Really solid quality pan. The removable handle would be really handy for cooking on an open fire (although I’m not sure I would actually do that with a pan this expensive). It’s a bit bigger than expected which is my own fault for not measuring it, so it is a good paella size pan rather than an average large frying pan.

I was sceptical when I bought this pan but it goes back to the old saying 'you get what you pay for'. The pan is brilliant, I wanted a good non stick pan so I could cook without any oil or fat, this pan allows just that and washing it is a breeze. great product and great to cook with.

Excellent pans, my last one was used every day for 12 years. I have the larger one also. They are great for starting a dish on the top, and then removing handle to finish baking in the oven. The handle is easy to remove and replace, even when pan is hot. Quality product and worth the money.

I have been happily using Berndes cast aluminium cookware for years and especially love the removable handles. Lightweight and easy to clean (but don't put in the dishwasher).
