David's Garden Seeds Bean Lima Pole King of The Garden 25 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds

Bought for my sons science experiment and I couldn’t bear to toss out the tiny baby plants. Repurposed a cat box and old plastic basket into a climbing-trellis. They’re growing like crazy! Great seeds.

Since I ordered these during winter for next summer's garden I don't yet know how well the seed will germinate. I was impressed by the fact that the seed was sent in resealable plastic pouches!

I sowed twenty-one hills with two beans for hill. The spot I chose is the hot spot in my garden, so I made sure the soil remained moist. Only ten hills produced a plant. Only one plant per hill. The total number of beans sowed was forty-two. Only ten plants out of forty-two seeds are unacceptable. Beans cost too much for these results. After more than fifty years of gardening, this is the worst germination I've ever seen.

All the seed we planted came up up in a short time.They are beautiful healthy plants.Growing so fast already have runners.Cant wait to see how they produce
