Very durable kids enjoyed playing outside with it

The kids and I love this. I was hesitant because of other reviews. None of the complaints I read held true. The wickets did not come apart in play, and they endured two three year olds and one four year old crawling through them,pulling them up, and sticking them in the ground in contorted ways, as well as having balls kicked into them. The kids had no trouble getting the balls to go through. I had read the reviews saying they came apart so I pushed them firmly together, but was prepared to follow another's suggestion of using superglue, if necessary. It wasn't.The balls that another complained were wrinkled outside are only wrinkled if one doesn't fully inflate them. This probably can't be done with just lung power as I used a foot pump, and it got harder as the ball got more full. Nice, sturdy balls. The kids sat on them and bounced because they were big, not enormous, but up to their knees, which is big to a three year old and a good size for the purpose. The outer cover protects against sticks and rocks in the grass.We obviously did not play a strict game of croquet, but I think older kids would have fun doing so. I would. The littles liked just getting the ball through, and trying to hit two lined up some distance apart.

We have not used it yet, but I was happy with the quality of all of the pieces. A fun twist on croquet.

It arrived in a box that had rips all over it and tape over all the rips. Should not be sold as new. Hopefully everything is here for when we use it in the spring.

I read other reviews from people saying that this game did not hold up. I was sure to push all the connections snugly together and it held up fine. Even given the fact there were several teenagers at our event, this item held up. Can't say the same about some of the inflatable items we had.

The extra layer they put on the balls to protect them was much needed and appreciated. The only reason I gave it a four instead of five was because the hoops kept popping open when the kids would kick the ball through. And yes we followed directions on the how far apart each end should be.

The product came quickly and in good shape. The hoops seems a little cheaply made. I was missing 2 connector pieces and 2 ground stakes for the flags. Not a huge deal, so I just let it go. The balls are smaller than I thought they would be. They seem to be good quality.
