Fast read with great summary of actual book
I really liked the manga cartoon style. It summarized the underlying book well and was fun to read.

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Manga Edition
I had read the original version and wanted to see how this format would stand up against that. This is my first manga book, so it took a few pages to get used to it, but the points were made in an engaging way and kept my interest more than the original. I especially liked the last section because it was more succinct and better written than the original. I would recommend this to all who want to build a vibrant, positive team that moves forward on projects rather than getting mired in pettiness and politics. Storytelling is the best way to get a point across, and seeing a story works better than just words.

I had to read it for work
This is the comic strip version and has everything the regular version had. I preferred this version, although I bought it by mistake. I wasn't as impressed with the content as my boss was, but it had some good information.

Great Book For Anyone
This is a wonderful version of the original. It's a great book for anyone, who has to work in "Team Work" situations. We purchased it in addition to several copies of the original, for our Manager's Library. I wanted to get the Manga version because I felt that it might appeal to those in the office who considered themselves "non-readers". The illustrations are awesome but don't take away from the books focus and message. The information is clear and to the point. I would reccomend it to anyone who is considering in the original - especially if they like Manga.

A must read for every leader
I find these types of books very hard to get through but this manga edition, while hard to read/follow at times due to design, is great for us short of focus.

An excellent take on a great book
I've been reading the leadership books by Lencioni for a few years. Each of them is considered a "fable" in that it uses narrative to tell a leadership story. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team is a great book. This manga comic version is an excellent option for the folks in my leadership team. It made the story enough fun that everyone completely enjoyed the book and lost sight of the fact they were learning a great lesson.

Good adaptation but artist sure didnt want to do this...
I really enjoyed reading this version of the book, it sure was far more enjoyable than the text only version, but being an illustrator myself I could easily appreciate that the manga artist just had no idea on what manga is, even tough he sounds japanese, the work on this book seems sloppy, and just like a manga wannabe american illustration there are even some panels that seem too forced like the final pages of the book where it looks like he just didnt know what to do and just did some random illustrations just to finish the job.Otherwise i do recommend it if you forget about this part, and just think about the theme content of the original book.

Easy to read, well thought out.
A straight forward look at team building in business and how to correct common dysfunctions. The cartoon addition brings it to life and makes it easy to engage with.

A different way of reading about team building
I see very interesting this approach of representing such a topic with examples. The book focuses on a executive team in order to show the main dysfunctional areas where we need to pay attention when a team is not performing as expected
