Sleeping mermaid!
I gifted this to my niece for her 5th birthday and she is in LOVE. She is currently obsessed with mermaid's & Ariel so this was the perfect gift for her. The material is soft on the inside & out and the colors are as shown. She lounges & sleeps in this whenever she can and it's the perfect size for her. Her toes reach the bottom and when fully stretched out it comes up to just below her shoulders. I do think that the price point is a bit high for not being a full blown blanket (one that covers your full body) but I'm aware that is not what it was intended for and apparently my niece doesn't care so either way it is getting good use. I think it's also worth noting that my niece typically doesn't sleep with blankets because she gets too warm but she apparently doesn't seem to mind this one!

Terrible quality
Awful quality. This was my daughter's #1 wish list item this Christmas and although she was thrilled to receive it, I am so angry about the lack of quality and durability. The same day she opened it the satin detail tore and began unravelling. There are slits all over the satin detail. This thing is such a waste of money. I should have just purchased the warehouse store version that was half the price and exponentially better in quality. So disappointed. I can't even return it because my daughter is so attached to this piece of ....

Cute but not durable
We bought the pink tail for our daughter’s birthday, and she absolutely loves it. Strangely, it’s pink and yellow rather than pink and green, but that’s a minor issue. It’s mainly pink, which is what matters.My issue is that the silly parts (the waist, the flower, and one side of the tail) are absolute garbage. Right after my daughter opened he gift, we washed it (following the instructions listed on the tag inside of it). The pictures I’ve attached are what it looked like afterward. Since then, the silky fabric at the waist has completely frayed in some areas, detaching it from the pink fleece. My daughter noticed tonight and was very sad (she’s had it for just over a week).So overall I am very disappointed with this product. As it is, I’m trying to figure out how I might deconstruct and remake it with better fabric replacing the poor quality silky stuff.

Started falling apart the day we got it...
Like many over reviewers have said previously, the detailing on ours started coming apart at the seams before we had had it a day. It is totally frayed at the top and coming off and there are runs in the tail fin. My daughter still seems to like it still and it may be more of a hassle than anything to try and return it for a new one. Hopefully the detailing will fall off easily without damaging the rest of the tail. Otherwise I suppose the blanket part looks nice and feels nice. It is just disappointing that we didn’t even make it a day without it coming apart.

Coming Apart Already
This item is super cute and my daughter was very excited to receive it. Unfortunately after taking it out of the box I realized that it is already coming apart. We are both very disappointed.

Not durable
For the money it’s fine. Very cute, and super soft. I put it through the wash on a 30 min cycle and let it air dry before letting my kid sleep with it; the satin at the top of the blanket ripped at two of the seams and now flaps in the breeze. It’s still incredibly soft, but it is obviously not the height of quality or durability.

Arrived without an item box.
I wanted to give this a 5 star, but unfortunately can’t. This was a Christmas present and it was received with no box! There was no indication in the description that it would be sent unboxed. If it had I wouldn’t have bought it and got the other one. It is the same blanket as shown but you’ll receive in cheap plastic wrap with no box. So don’t buy for a gift, however if you know you want it and what it is, go for it. It is very soft and cute, just embarrassing to give to someone.

Falls apart first time you wash
I bought this for my niece for Xmas. My sister in law washed it once and it fell apart! Terrible. If I could return it, I would, but how do you explain to a 5 year old that you need her present back to return it?
