Having been so naive and unaware about how much damage we were doing to our planet constantly using and disposing of our plastic straws we decided to do our extra little bit to help and so decided we would purchase and use reusable straws in the future. We had initially considered paper straws but again these would be disposable and although not causing any environmental waste impact they obviously do still have to be sourced and so I’m not really as environmentally friendly as metal reusable straws. Upon looking on Amazon for reusable straws there are obviously an awful lot of choices although to be honest 90% of them are the same straws in slightly different packaging and a very different prices. So we decided to go with these ones as they were extremely good value. Upon the arrival I was extremely happy at the quality of the straws and of the cleaning rods that were supplied inside the packaging my only slight gripe would’ve been that the cleaning rods could have been slightly more flexible to make them easier to go through the bends in the straws but with a little bit of force they do go through ok and I’m sure they will Becomes easier in time. Since the arrival and have used them on various thicknesses of liquid including very thick milkshakes and they have handled every job we have thrown at them they are also extremely easy to clean and come out spotlessly from the dishwasher without any problems. Really cannot recommend the stores enough they certainly will last a number of years

I drink a ridiculous amount of fizzy drinks and wanted straws to protect my teeth. I did not want to go to a store and but millions of them over and over. Straws are also surprisingly expensive. So, if you want to forever use straws, these are excellent and convenient.Some are straight and some have that bend at the top, so you're covered depending on your preference or drink.These are fairly easy to clean. They come with a couple of long flexible brushes that you can clean them with for a thorough clean. If you live with other people who don't do this, hot soapy water works too.It makes fizzy drinks fizzier, so drinks don't go flat as easily.It comes in a velvety bag so they are easy to keep together when clean and easy to grab if you're going out for a picnic and need a few. There are enough of them so you can use them at small gatherings.And, as most my reviews on more environmentally friendly products go, you get to know you're filling less landfills while you smugly sip your drink. So, a little tiny ego boost.Highly reccommend.

Really good for keeping in your handbag or car for when you go through a drive thru and don’t want to use the paper straws. Easy to clean too with the pipe cleaner it comes with. Definitely recommend

I wish they would make a short version for our short glasses. The kids love using these straws in their smoothies. I popped one in the dishwasher and it cleaned up great too. These are so much better than the paper straws that feel weird and go mushy. These are particularly good for keeping cold drinks cold and for thinner drinks. The straight and curved neck is good for different glasses. Personally i'd like a wider version for thicker smoothies and a shorter version for in tumblers. Good price for what i think will be a long lasting product. The iridescent colour was a nice bonus too.

You only need step into your nearest Wetherspoons to see that the plastic straws that once carpeted the floors of bars the world over are out, out, OUT. Unfortunately, you only need sample their paper-based replacement the one time to realise that the recyclable alternative is not really fit for purpose. No-one spends upwards of a fiver on one drink to have it taste like cardboard and while you COULD just forgo the straw altogether, many of us view it as part of the drinking experience. While eco awareness is of absolute prime importance in these troubling times, so too is enjoying the cheeky bevvy that helps you cope with the irrefutable fact that our planet is crumbling from beneath us! These straws are so well made. 2 holographic bent straws (metal so permanently bent), 2 grey bent, 2 holographic straight, 2 grey straight and 2 cleaning brushes which work well. They have been in the dishwasher unscathed and do not leave a metallic taste when drinking. Rubber tips are easy to put on and easily cleaned as well, I just left them to soak.All the items were within a velvety drawstring bag making it easy to take with you without getting lost in the bottom of your bag. The rubber tips and the drawstring bag were in plastic bag, but they are zip locked so can be reused for storing other things that you wish and therefore still kind of help the environment. Well worth the money as they will definitely last a long time.
