Lillian Rose Taupe, One Size Vintage Lace Garter, (LG196 T)

I LOVE this Garter. The lace detail is beautiful and it is very well made. The feathers are a little longer than what it shows in the picture but I like that about it. It's a tad tight. I'm small and am going to have to tone my thighs more so there isn't an indent from this garter. If that fails, I'll just try stretching it.

I love this thing...so cute and a perfect color for my champagne wedding dress. I can't wait to wear it! I am physically fit, 5'2" and weigh 125 lbs. My hamstrings are muscular and I have a 19" thigh. This garter will stay on my thigh from what I can tell. I have only tried it on once as I do not want to stretch it out though. The next time it goes on my leg will be the day of my wedding. I do wish it had that rubbery stuff on the inside, like many thigh-highs have - to help keep it up. But, not a deal breaker. I will try and add a little something to the inside for that purpose. I'll let you know what works best!

This vintage style garter is perfect for a Vintage or Roaring 20's themed wedding. It is a one size fit all so be careful when ordering it. Measure your leg where you plan to wear it. It will fit approximately 15 -16 1/2" leg. It may fall down on smaller legs so you made need to make adjustments to it. When you order it you will also receive a smaller, thinner one to throw. Again try it on before hand so you have time to make any adjustment. I would recommend it.

I positioned this about mid-thigh, where my leg is 21" in circumference. (I had wanted it a little lower for modesty sake, but there was no way it was going to stay there). I wear a size 6-8 curvy jeans and don't have narrow thighs. It felt a little loose, but I thought it would stay through the ceremony. As I was walking to meet my dad at the back of the aisles I felt it slowly sliding down my leg. Everyone already had turned to face us. When I got to my dad I was balancing it on my foot as I walked and knew it wouldn't make it down the aisle with me. So I did the only thing I could do, I asked my Dad if he would remove my garter. I still flush a little at how awkward that moment was. He was great about it, slipped it off my foot and discretely tucked it in his pocket to hand off to my groom later. Our photographer even got a picture, as if I'll ever forget.Buy this garter for a very memorable experience, if you have bigger thighs or want to place it much higher than I did. At the very least, make sure to do a trial run with it first for a few hours walking around and see if you need to take it in some. It really is very lovely.

Super happy with this purchase, it looks exactly as the pictures show and the feathers bounce and flow perfectly. It will totally match my shabby shic vintage theme. The only thing I'm worried about is its not super elastic, more like the band around a pair of lace panties I guess if I had to compare it to something. So I'm concerned it may be a little difficult for my hubby to fling during the garter toss. Oh well though, his problem not mine haha!

Didn't fit. Not stretchy at all.

It is very pretty hence the 2 stars instead of one however it does nothing but bad. Getting it out of the package it immediately curls up it WILL NOT lie flat against your thigh, it just becomes a jumbled mess no matter how delicately you try to put it on or straighten it out, it just curls right back into itself, even once it's curled it slides down your leg. It's unwearable and will fall out the bottom of your dress within moments of standing up. Do not buy

I was skeptical about buying a garter on Amazon. This garter was PRECIOUS and perfect for my wedding. I did not even know it was there. It stayed in place. At the garter toss, one of my cousins caught it, and luckily, he gave it back to me at the end of the night because I did not realize how much it was going to mean to me. If I were you, buy this garter for you to keep, and a different one for your groom to peel off of you and toss to the crowd in case that catcher doesn't give it back!
