Good for picky eater
I had my senior pup (13yrs poodle/chi mix) on Hills Science and after a while he stop eating it. He is such a picky eater, so we tried this brand and he is eating again. Hopefully, he will continue to eat. We went through one 8lb bag and brought a 22lb bag. With us luck!

Good quality prescription food
It’s hard to find a good kidney food that my dog will eat. Our Sheltie has bladder cancer that was affecting his kidneys. He likes this brand, good quality food for kidney health.

It does what it is intended to do.
I feel that Blue Buffalo could produce and sell this item for the same price as the other varieties and still make a decent profit.To be honest I had to spruce it up a bit to get my dog to touch it. Adding cooked pumpkin, squash, carrots, rice, green peppers, low sodium broth, or fruits helped keep him interested. It worked great for days that I didn't have time to prep an entire meal.

Great quality control - NOT!! Bag was opened already and partially taped shut. What genius packed this up?!

A great renal dog food option
With an aging (14yrs) dog in renal failure a good food is critical. And older pets don't always have a great appetite. My dog used to eat Hills Rx Diet KD - a company/food I have great respect for - but she slowly rejected. I searched Amazon for an alternative and came across this product. So far she is eating it pretty well and I am pleased with her behavior and energy level. No loose stools or vomiting either! Yay!

This was as expected. Has helped my old dog who has been having some problems with urinary incontinence.

My dogs' favorite....amended at bottom
With the exception of the cost, this food is fantastic. My dogs, literally, COULDN'T WAIT to get at it! The GSD kept trying to get into the bin as I was pouring the food in!! Even though I was a "bad mommy" and didn't transition the dogs over as you're supposed to, there has not been any tummy distress (from either end.)I'm hoping to find this food to be **THE ONE** that will help bring their kidney values back down.-—My dogs still love this food, but the “shipping” price here is ABSURD. Maybe, Amazon will correct this, but until that time, I will continue buying elsewhere.
