In a word, "Wow".
I am genuinely surprised on how robust this popcorn maker is. For the price, I was expecting a mid-range consumer unit with plastic-y parts and ho-hum speed. What I got is a beefy machine (stamped metal, rivets and screws, heavy glass windows, etc...), and the speed.... OMG. After putting in the oil, flavoring salt, and kernels, from turning it on (Kettle switch, & Stirrer switch) to popcorn flowing out is a mere 3 minutes. This machine heats the kettle so quickly that I barely have time to wash off the scoop spoon I use for the coconut oil before the magic happens. The Vent switch is a must; this machine will definitely produce some steam that will fog the inside of the windows. I turn on the Vent as soon as hear the first kernel pop for about minute; all is vented. The Warmer switch is a nice touch. It keeps the bottom metal plate slightly warm so that any extra popcorn is ready to eat for some time after the batch. Our go-to size is a half cup of kernels, which feeds 4 of us in large popcorn bags. We did make a full cup once, and wow, that was a lot of goodness. We gallon-sized ziplock bagged the rest.2 (very) minor complaints:- the kettle hangs down just low enough as to slightly get in my way when scooping as a right-hander. (we use one of the french fry scoops). No big deal, it just takes some care not to knock the popcorn off of the scooper.- when you need to dump the remaining popcorn, the kettle only rotates to about 95 degrees (rather than all the way over (180)). This can cause many of the popped kernels to stay in the kettle, potentially burning (this thing get really hot). My solution is to lift the kettle off of the suspension hanger closest to me and rotate it all the over, then hang it back on. It only takes 3 seconds, and all of the popcorn is dumped to the bottom instantly. All in all, this is a work-horse machine that we use 2-3 times per week and love it. Our friends and family now expect us to host movie nights just so they can experience hot, fresh, movie-theater-style popcorn.Great product!

We absolutely love it
We've had this for well over a year now and it has worked flawlessly. I don't even know the number of batches we have made but many movie nights with tasty popcorn have been had. We use the individual prepackaged popcorn packs with salt and butter. We also add the buttery topping oil when serving. Its every bit as good as the stuff you get at the cinemas. It's a breeze to clean. We use a professional foaming appliance cleaning spray for inside the machine, clean the kettle by hand, and throw the lid and hangers into the dishwasher. If this one blew up today, I'd buy one just like it tomorrow.

Works well - arrived slightly damaged. (Replaced)
Delivered with a damaged foot/sheet metal, so it wobbles. A piece of cardboard steadies it. See photos.System assembled without tops and did a test batch AOK.The vent fan will be worth its weight in gold as it whisks water vapor and vaporized oil out of the box. Previous popper had no fan and interior metal parts (ie the ceiling) pitted and started corroding.Waiting for seller response on the foot damage but I think this unit is a keeper. After the big party in December I’ll report back on it being used constantly for 6 hours.EDITED 12/06/2019: seller sent a new unit in great shape. All I had to do was transfer the kettle, doors, kernel tray, and light bulb. (Notice the big dog in the photo right after I inboxed the new unit.)Problem solved in time for the Christmas party we are giving for abused children in two days !Excellent customer service.

one of the best purchases I've ever made.
My family has loved this machine weekly or more for 18 months. Built right from actual stainless steel and glass.. It comes apart for easier cleaning. The glass is still tough to clean, but I've never seen a machine that was easier. The kettle sits high enough so you don't burn your hands on it while getting popcorn, but is low enough to allow you to add kernels. Turning on the warmer and air circulation will freshen popcorn that's been sitting for a couple of days. We buy our supplies at Sam's and it tastes just like the movies. The capacity is large enough for our family of seven to have family movie night with a small batch. If we bring fresh popcorn to events, it fills a kitchen trash bag with popcorn in about 3 large batches.

Good buy! Recurring quality issue from day 1.
This is a really nice easy function popcorn maker. We have had it exactly 1 month & 1 day 8/9/21.We have made 12- 1.5 cup batches between a few times of use.It was quite the eye "popping" 🍿 excitement for our party too.(Everything) is easy to take apart and clean & reassemble. There's only 2 underperforming parts, one of which are in several other reviews.First, the hanger brackets that support the heavy kettle pot are flimsy.(Other reviews too)Secondly, the kettle pot (stirer spindle gear) gets stuck to the ceiling (stationary gear) every single batch from the first day of use.We have unintentionally burnt a hilacious amount of popcorn because of this. This is 100% a defect. We have significantly cut down the amount of kernels per batch with zero improvement on the outcome. When it's time to dump the popcorn from the kettle, the stirer spindle gear stays hardened & sticks to the ceiling gear thus burning your popcorn. The only method we have figured out to resolve this is to have a butter knife on hand and wedge between the gears to disrupt the sticking of the gears. If you're not able to break free the gears quickly then you'll still burn your popcorn.
