Classic and elegant
Very simple and classic. The metal tops seem to be hard to find so I was happy to find these. Would definitely buy again.

Look expensive.
I think I have some kind of salt and pepper shaker obsession. I don't know. I recently bought more of these Classic Towers after a holiday meal where I thought I could have used more to keep people from passing them all over the tabletop. I have had the same set for years and really, really like the feel, the weight, the ease of washing them out. The look is great. They don't scratch easily and have lasted for years. You can use them for everyday meals or holidays or both. But about this obsession....I went to put them away in January and found a box of 12 crystal shakers, and a box of 12 more in a different style. I was like, oh yeah, now I remember buying these, too. I have 30 salt and pepper shakers. Why. The Classic Towers probably cost the least, but easily hold their own with their upscale cousins.

Perfect compliment when eating eggs in the shell
I have bought my grandson a whole set of tools for his making his own in the shell eggs at home. Most salt and pepper shakers have way too much dispensing area to dribble a little pepper and a little salt into the top of an egg shell. These are perfect. Well made, heavy and just look great on the table next to the egg cups and spoons. Highly recommended.

Nice design, lightweight, pours well
Nothing I dislike. I was looking for a good shaker that was less boxy and bulky than the traditional shakers to sit on the kitchen counter and love the look and feel of this. I didn't use pepper, so both have salt in them.Photo compares the traditional boxy shaker with this more elegant style.

Works great! Looks great!
Just like the ones you see at restaurants. Gulliver’s in particular if you live in Orange County. Easy to fill and use. Puts out a decent amount when shaking in my opinion. I hate those shakers that barely put out anything. And the ridges on the bottom let’s you do that trick when you rub both the bottoms of the shakers together the get and extreme amount of salt or pepper out at a time. Just you tube salt and pepper shaker trick and you’ll see what I’m talking about.Anyways, I love using these daily for breakfast on soft boiled eggs. Tall, slim, and neat!

Cap fits poorly
The screw cap fits so loosely that salt comes out from under the lid when you turn it up after shaking some salt out.

You've seen these in restaurants! Nice set, inexpensive, yet elegant
These are identical to the ones you'll find in many restaurants. They are inexpensive yet still elegant. While I generally do not add salt or pepper at the table, I do want it available for my dinner guests. Not wanting to spend $100 on a nice lead crystal set, I decided to give these a try. After all, for the price, if I really didn't like them I could use them for cinnamon, garlic powder, or something along those lines. I was actually a bit surprised by the quality. They are durable glass and the shaker tops seat securely. I used a small funnel to fill with sea salt and ground black pepper.

Salt and Pepper Shakers
The holes are way too large causing the salt and pepper to pour out.
