Problem Solved!!!
My beautiful 12 year old boy Baxter developed an inflammatory condition last year which resulted in his throwing up most foods and quickly losing weight. With the help of a great Vet, he is stabilized on meds, but needs to keep his appetite up to get healthy again. I have spent much money buying all kinds of wet food, but in most cases after a few times, he loses interest, or worse, doesn't like it at all. I end up donate great quantities to the shelter! However, I found the Purina product lines on the advice of my Vet, and this WILD formulation is the one. It is quail, liver and turkey, and I believe it has more flavor than some of the normal chicken or turkey varieties. It is a Pate, which is necessary for his condition. My normally 14 pound boy had slipped to 8 pounds 1 ounce at his lowest, and after a few weeks of the right meds and his love for this food, he has already grown to 9 pounds 12 ounces! I feed him can after can and he cleans the bowl every time. I highly recommend this food if you have a finicky or sick kitty.

Cat Approved
I have 8 cat's and all owners know how finicky they can be when it comes to eating. All 8 have given this a 5 star rating. As an owner, I'm more concerned with health. This exceeds my standards and is moderately priced.

Dinner Winner
This is the only food my little old lady cat will eat, and that’s a very good thing. My issue is with the way it’s packaged. Only available in 3 oz cans, packaged in 12 cans at most.At two cans a day (3 ounces is a small single serving) 12 cans don't last a week - except as empties in the recycling bin.I’d really like to see a larger can/less expensive per ounce option, but for now, I’m just glad I found something my cat really loves.

Simple, Real Meat, not By-products
I was looking for a wet cat food that did not have ANY kind of grain, including rice. The Purina Beyond WILD uses meat, and a single vegetable listed last (as the smallest component) and then the list of added vitamins/minerals. The price is affordable for a small cat. If you're unable to make a proper raw meat food for your cat, this formula is an acceptable step in the right direction: the removal of wheat, corn and rice and the use of actual meat (not by-products). My cat has tried both the Turkey with Liver and Quail, and the Chicken with Sweet Potato flavors and loves them both. No adverse effects from the change in diet either. Read the ingredient list for *each flavor* to make sure you are not getting any rice or too much vegetable (the Chicken with Sweet Potato also contains carrot - purchased at Walmart to stretch my subscription of two cases per month to last a whole month at one can per day). I supplement my cat's daily canned food with a high-quality dry food (1/4 cup per day) that does not contain grain (NOT Purina).

Awesome!!
I have been struggling to find my elderly cat a dry food he will eat - after several months of losing weight and no apparent reason found in blood work, my vet and I decided that he probably has lost a some of his sense of smell, so nothing was stimulating his appetite. He also has been a habitual vomiter all his life. From the first moment I put some of this dry food in his bowl he has chowed it down. Two months later, I realize he no longer vomits, he has put on some weight, his coat looks wonderful, and he no longer wants anything to do with wet cat food! Thank you Purina!!!

PukeFest has Ended...yaaay!! But beware of bones...
***Update: So I ordered 2 packs of this food on Nov. 10th and didn't open a pack until Nov. 13th. It's almost a month later & I'm finding tiny pieces of bone in some cans. Normally the food costs $15 but I ordered 2 packs because it was priced at $11. I wonder if that's why the price decreased. I have read a few reviews with owners finding bone in the food but this is the 1st time in 8 months and many orders, that I've had the same issue. I called Amazon & they issued me a refund for both packs of food. I will be calling Purina as well. The food is dated for July 2021. I'll post a pic of the bottom of the can soon. My cat loves this food & I don't want to have to switch her. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars.*** My baby aka Big Mama is 13yrs old. She's always eaten dry food but in the past 2 yrs I've found myself cleaning up puke at least 2x a week. Vet said give her 5-10 pieces per serving. I did that. Then I switched her food to a much more expensive brand that I attempted to soften beforehand. Didn't work. Examining what I cleaned up, she simply wasn't chewing the kibble...at all.I feed her supplements, which I mixed in wet dog food & she never regurgitated. Long story short, I did a bit of research but stuck with what I know. First night I gave her a spoonful of this food, she knocked the bowl over trying to lick it clean! It's been over a week & she comes running the moment I open a can. And you better believe I'm jumping for joy, not having to clean up clusters of cat puke!!My only gripe is you're supposed to feed your kitty one can per 3 1/2 pounds. For Big Mama that's 2 cans a day for 6 days. A can + 1/2 divided into two servings seems to do it for now but still. $60 month is a lot on a fixed income. But I'll deal vs the constant clean-ups & potential ridiculously high vet bills. Purina for the dog & now the cat too.

My cats love this
They absolutely love this brand and particular flavor. They also haven't thrown up since I switched to this, and while I can't scientifically say it's because this food agrees with their tummies more.... I'd say it agrees with their tummies more.
