Geodesic Domes: Demonstrated and explained with cut-out models

This book is a rather mathy introduction to geodesic domes and how to compute them. It's about 25% theory and instruction and 75% cut out and build example models.Note: This is not a terribly practical resource for actual dome building, but great info well presented on the design and mathematics of geodesic shapes.

I perused through the book briefly and it looks good and thats all that needs to be done! Theres several pages of geometry information. After that is just pictures of geometric shapes. You can scan those shapes and use them for what ever comes to mind. Its straight to the point pattern style book so its good for what its worth. :o)

Fun book

The book provides basic insights into geodesic design of higher frequency structures from the fundamental icosehdral blocks. Cut out patterns provide some hands on builds. Worth the money.

This is an excellent little book. A great starter for people who want to build little domes that are still useful.Very practical, very clear, very simple.I recommend it.
