Comfy, good sound, amazing looks
I ordered this headset to replace a broken pair of HyperX Cloud Stinger's (not an expensive headset) which the leather had completely degraded on and was leaving black leather marks all over my head everytime I wore them - not cool during lockdown with a ridiculous amount of video calls every day!I initially ordered a pair of Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero's, but sent them back after a couple of days as the sound was awful without some heavy EQ, and the software has some sort of (widely reporting on Reddit) fatal glitch that causes the installer to get stuck in a loop. This means the EQ doesn't work as the software can't load, leaving you with awful sound. The sound I was left with was significantly worse than the cheap CloudX's these were intended to replace.Annoyed by making this mistake, I spent considerably longer watching Youtube videos etc to get some reviews and was torn between the Astro A40s and these. In the end, and because I don't care about wires but wanted the DAC, I went for these. As soon as they arrived, the sound was infinitely better, even without tweaking the EQ. I spent some time getting this right (based on my experience above) and ended up with a couple of profiles that I can flick between that are great. The gameDAC is brilliant, the headphones are extremely comfy - I wear them for 12+ hours some days as a combination of work and play later, and whilst I think they would hurt a bit if you wear them straight through, with a couple of breaks to eat and do other things they're comfy to wear right through. They look amazing, feel good quality, the mic quality I have found is good for gaming, mobile calls, video conferences and it's easy to switch between 3-4 devices (which I do very frequently) - I just flick between different stub cables on my desk. Can't recommend these enough. A few reviews mention poor sound etc, but I think you do get used to a certain sound profile - I like a lot of bass for music, clear vocals for work calls, and pinpoint sound accuracy for FPS gaming. I've found these can do all 3 but you do have to spend a bit of time sorting out EQ profiles - not hard, and I suggest just copy some from online and tweak as needed.

I love SteelSeries
I'm happy with these headphones. They were a bit expensive but I picked up some like new from the Amazon Warehouse (just damaged packaging). They looked brand new and function perfectly, the sound quality is great, the build quality is exceptional, they feel good and comfortable on the head. Truly great headphones from a great brand.

Microphone shocking.
This headset yes it’s comfy. Yes with ease to set up. Yes sound quality. HELL NO TO THE MICROPHONE! My Friends can not stand to hear the output from the microphone. It’s very tiny very cheap quality. Do not recommend this he add set at all for microphone usage. Headset is no good. Headphones definitely.

Close, but no cigar.
A good pair of very comfortable headphones with excellent sound & microphone quality. It is a solid choice who wants a reliable communication method in a work from home world.I use these headphones to take work calls all day and its comfortable to wear and everyone hears me loud and clear, the side tone feature is a massive help to hear my own voice and background voices/keyboard clacking.Sound quality is top quality, but not being an audiophile, my old $100 HyperX Cloud II headset was not bad either. Microphone is where the big change comes in. It is clear and lovely to listen to (even if it is my own voice :)Headset comfort (for me anyway) is the best I have ever tried. No sore spot at the top of my head after a day’s use.Adjustments are decent to set it up in a way that it creates no pressure spots.Appreciate the mesh ear pads which are comfortable and breathable and allow some outside noise in.I hate leather earpads as they make your ears sweaty over a long wearing session. However, a few bug bears exist:• Consistent Tick noise (like a clock) with Volume set to -14 and above.• A constant hiss sound is coming from the DAC when set above -25, really annoying when not listening to anything loud.• Software issues, if you use the Game/Chat Mix Option, its broken. If you re-set the DAC, it works, but after PC Sleep/Reboot, it stops working.• Headset to DAC Cable is a pain to plug in and out of DAC. It is a proprietary cable with a very small narrow hole in a small narrow and hard to see spot, pain in the back side if you wish to use the headset with PS4/Xbox and PC again.USB-C cable in an easier accessible spot would have been much more preferred.• DAC to Headset cable is just as horrible. Wish they used USB-C which would work with my mobile phone or with many of the already existing USB-C to 3.5mm adapters.Overall, a very good headset. I have settled on this one for a few months now as I am not sure if I can find a better alternative without going with a more expensive and a bigger setup or buying separate DAC / Mic to alleviate software bugs of this headset.Maybe I will at some point, I just do not have the space/budget for it atm.

A fantastic headset!
The headset is great, although I would advise people to order the leather earcups. The fabric earcups are pretty scratchy and don't feel great until they have been worn in for a while. Furthermore, for PC, the GameDAC needs to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port, otherwise the audio will be choppy and cut out. The headset sounds really great, and the DAC makes it sound even better. I would say the DAC adds the control and extra punch in the sound to make this a really great headset.

Great headset
I always buy steel series headsets! After my last one broke after years of use I found this one.Comfortable to wear for hours while wearing glasses and the sound is great using the game DAC or just normal cable. Also the pass through when using the game DAC with my ps5 is great, would recommend!
