Pleasantly surprised! High quality and quiet, 5*
After searching online for good value yet high quality dog clippers for my Shoodle, it was a shortlist between these and Wahl. Bit nervous as thought they might be cheap rubbish, but my word I am so happy with them! See photos for before and after shots. They cut my dog's hair with ease, and had four clip-on guards to alter the length so I could blend around her face. They were quiet too, so much so my usually nervous dog let me clip top of her head.Shaving her legs was only difficulty, either need smaller, narrower shaver (like an ear and nose trimmer for men) or take some hair off with these clippers then finish with scissors (which I did).Only downsides are that set does not come with blade oil, and also you can't replace the blade when blunt. But at £16.99, even if I had to dispose of them after a year it's still huge saving on my groomer's fees. It is ceramic titanium blade so anticipate they'll last well with good oil care.Overall, very happy, 5*.UPDATE 24 June 2019 - been using the clippers for few months now, at least five full grooms and lil touch-ups, and pleased to report that the blade is holding up well, no dragging or pulling my doggy's hair and cutting well, still sharp. :)UPDATE 27 September 2019 - clippers still sharp and cutting dog hair with ease. Very happy!

Very impressed!
Now... I'm aware these are dog clippers but they worked wonders for my extremely sensitive horse! She usually needs to be sedated in order to be clipped and would eat me if not. I could not believe my eyes when she stood there not batting an eyelid. She is especially tickly over her girth area, neck and ears and I was able to all these areas with not one problem. They are so much quieter than your usual horse clippers and I am fully converted. It does take a bit longer because the blades are smaller but for the price and lack of stress on both parts I am very impressed!

Cheap rubbish, fake reviews.
This clipper was defective, it just wouldn't turn on even after leaving on charge for a while. These things can happen I guess, but the overall quality seemed so poor that I just sent it back without asking for a replacement and bought a more reputable brand. The clipper felt flimsy, and the fact that the upper blade was made out of plastic didn't fill me with confidence that it would cut that well if it did work. It feels to me another sign that you can't trust Amazon reviews. There's so much cheap rubbish on here with 5 star reviews galore, it's embarrassing.

They have lasted really well, however you do need to read my updates to see why.
Update 2: These trimmers are still going after two years. The in off switch is still hot and miss however I can work around this now. I am still using them in my husband’s curly ginger mop to give him the dog equivalent of a number 3 all over. These work so much better than his old human hair trimmers ever did. The dogs however still run a mile when they see them though.....Update. I have changed to a five star review for a couple of reasons. They are still working, the on off button may still be a bit hit and miss as to whether it stays on or not but I have got over this. Also over lockdown they worked rather well in my husbands hair! Gave him a very nice even cut all over after his considerably more expensive hair trimmer gave up the ghost. Since then we have just used these to stay on top of his hair! Now I am not recommending them as human hair trimmers but every though the dogs are not fans my husband it!My dogs don’t like to be trimmed, but they spend so much time in and out of water and running through hedges I need to stay on top of their fur to prevent it from becoming matted.I have been using normal human hair clippers but they need to be plugged in and can be quite restrictive if the dog gets up and wanders if, so I thought that these being cordless would make it easier.I have trouble with the switch, as soon as I take my finger off it the clippers stop, this means I have to twist my hand in a funny way to keep the thing going. The vibrations after a couple of uses are now more than the human clippers and I had to start approaching the dogs with the clipper hidden behind my back. However they were cheap so what can you expect, and for a quick trim of a clinker will do, but I am going back to the husbands hair clippers for when they need a better trim.

Just fab!
These clippers are fabulous! Our Lhasa apso "Enzo" is now half the size! He hadn't been clipped in probably 6 months always done at the dog groomers locally! His hair was about 4inches long with some matted bits on his back and around his legs! These clippers just glided through with no guard used! I charged the clippers overnight, i used them full on with no breaks for about an hour and they ran out of power. As i said he was always clipped at a groomers except one time a purchased a set of pet clippers from a well known brand beginning with"W" and tried them but they wouldnt even move through his hair as they kept jamming, you would have thought his hair was made of steel!? Absolute rubbish in my opinion and nearly 3 times the price of these! Put me off doing it again as i thought I'd bought the best! So glad i tried these clippers and gave them a chance after reading the reviews! As this was my first real go, i took my time particularly where he was matted otherwise i believe the battery would have done him completely. He needs a bit more work round the legs and undercarriage probably another half an hour. I needed a break and so did he anyway so i have them back on charge. Ive read that these clippers will work connected to a power source but i haven't tried as i like the freedom of no wire round his legs particularly. Don't hesitate buying these clippers and save yourself some money!

Well impressed and Value for money.
I've been thinking of buying some Grooming Clapper's to thin the coat of my English Springer Spaniel for a while. I looked at various ones,But could not make my mind up. So I read the reviews on these Clipper's and I bought them on the strength of being low noise. My Spaniel gets a little nervous sometimes at the Grooming parlour. So I gave these a try and She was totally fine with them, they are very quiet and didn't bother he for a second.I am well impressed with them.I would recommend these to anyone great value for the money.
