MartinLogan Motion 30 Center Channel Speaker - Each (Cherrywood)

Many center channels I feel are just there to complete a set and fail to deliver the most important sound "Dialogue". Most center channels lack the ability to deliver clear voices while providing center channel effects. Its frustrating because that is the role of the center channel speaker. GOOD NEWS this Martin Logan center channel delivers clear, detailed, voices at all volumes! This speaker produces accurate tone based on voice and never sounds ear piercing but instead all sounds smooth and velvety! Its a beast of a center channel and you will be rewarded driving this speaker with a good AV receiver like a Marantz or upper tier Yamaha but you can use "less" of an amp just make sure it does 4 ohms. Build Quality is top notch with a metal grill that screams high quality! I went with the Cherrywood center and the matching Cherrywood motion 20's for the fronts. For a subwoofer I went with Martin Logan dynamo 700 and for surrounds Martin Logan motion 2i all driven by Marantz SR 7012! Excellent Audiophile System!

Box appeared to be resealed with tape, metal magnet screen was bent/warped, able to flex it back, it was under the speaker, not in a sealed plastic bag/sleeve.

The sound quality, workmanship, luxurious finish, and careful packaging are all commendable. I received this Motion 30 and two Motion 15 speakers via UPS and FedEx, and both boxes were somewhat abused. However, the multiple internal layers of protection ensured the speakers are in perfect condition. The speaker wire screws are also very nice, and the magnetic cover pops on in perfect position with a confident hold.
