Diesel On Men's Full Guard 2.5 Smartwatch Powered with Wear OS by Google with Heart Rate, GPS, NFC, and Smartphone Notifications

I bought this watch as an upgrade to my Apple Watch series 1. I purchased the model with the brown leather strap when it was on sale for $199. I was a little skeptical at first due to all the negative reviews about battery life, but the great looks of the watch combined with the low price drew me in regardless. Turns out the battery is fine. I wore the watch all day at work. After 13 hrs, I still had 48% battery life. It was projected to last another 11 hrs for a total of 24 hrs. I had Bluetooth and WiFi turned on along with all the default notifications. I imagine if I deactivated some of the features, I could stretch the battery life to a couple of days. I downloaded and installed the latest software and I'm running Wear OS version 2.6. This may have something to do with the improved battery life. I noticed others were posting screen shots of their battery life and showed that Bluetooth accounted for 99% of their battery consumption. Not the case with my watch. Bluetooth only accounted for 12% of battery consumption for me. I attached a screenshot of the battery health graph for my watch that shows it would have gone a full 24 hrs.Compared to the Apple Watch series 1, the battery life is slightly less however. I could get a day and a half out of the Apple Watch when it was new. The Diesel On Full Guard 2.5 its much more fun to use though. It is more customizable, has better watch faces, looks better, and the two buttons above and below the dial can be used as shortcuts for whatever apps you want. The performance is probably only slightly better than the Apple Watch series 1 which is odd since series 1 technology is a few years old now. Either way, I'm extremely satisfied so far.

I received this watch about a week ago. I have always liked the look of this watch and was waiting for a good sale to jump on it. When it dropped to $199 i pulled the trigger. First off the watch is beautiful. Absolutely the best looking smart watch I own. performance is very god as well. Battery was bad the first couple days but as I changed a setting or two the battery got better and better and now i have easily 40% left when I get home from a 12 hour day at work. The band looks great and is very comfy. No new snapdragon 3100 but the watch performs well and does exactly what I want it to do as a smartwatch. Gret job by Diesel!!!

I bought this watch to replace my garmin mainly due to the NFC payment this watch has. It’s a decent watch, but has a few problems. Battery life is as you’d expect from something like this. Lasts a day. Maybe a day and a half.It’s slow. Very slow. I’ll have to move my wrist 3-4 times to get it to wake up. Touching the watch to access something I’ll have touch, wait a few seconds, then it’ll respond. Queue this every time you watch to access something. Makes it tough to do anything.I’ve had it almost a week. It’s already become completely unresponsive once. You could still lift your arm to view watch but that’s all it would do. No amount of tapping or button pushing would do anything. I had to wait until the battery died to get it to turn off. Once charged it worked fine.The NFC doesn’t work. At all. I’ve tried few times and 9-10 different stores. It’s never once worked. Disappointing because that’s why I bought it.Overall not really worth the cost since it either doesn’t work or has a lot of issues. I like diesel but I’d pass on this watch if I could.

Can be difficult to pair, especially when switching to a new phone (Pixel 2XL to Pixel 4XL, in my case). Touch screen has some lag frequently. Battery life is decent enough when it's used as just a watch, but most commonly drops to about 40% at the end of a regular 9-5.

Great looking watch, this is the main reason I purchased it. I don't have high expectations as far as battery life and performance. I'm well aware of the flaws and poor performance of wear OS. This watch wasn't purchased to be my daily driver, it was purchased on looks, and the few smart features it can pull off.

The watch looks very cool but sadly it is very glitchy and sometimes doesn’t pickup when you touch the screen, there is no way to adjust the time it takes to turn the screen off I believe it turns off after 10 seconds of not touching it, another issue is the battery life it drains insanely fast even in extended mode which claims that when it’s activated will last all weekend without a charge I watched it go from 100% to 84% in a matter of minutes so you can imagine when it’s in its regular mode how fast it dies and even while extended mode is on and battery saver it still drains quickly and disable most of the features you initially bought this watch for another thing is powering it on and off consumes about 4% of the battery.I was extremely excited when I purchased this and anxious to wear my new watch but it did not live up to my lowest expectations, do not let the intriguing design and looks fool you the components are probably the lowest class even just a better battery would’ve made me want to keep it but I’m considering returning it since I can’t even wear it for a single day without having to charge it.

So far the watch is just incredibly slow and unresponsive. You try to do one thing, it prompts you to do 13 other things. In order to change the face, a relatively simple task, I find my self attempting it over and over again. The software does not respond to the command fast enough so it spazzes out and then you cant get anything done because its busy trying to get through the last brain over load you gave it...By the time it responds you will be on a completely different screen than you were originally trying to set up and it's just a huge hassle and waste of money. It sucks because I really wanted to like this watch, it was a gift after all but, a watch with hands would be better than this.

This is my 2nd Diesel watch and my 4th Smartwatch and this is probably my favorite.One of the only things I didn't like was that I mistakenly downloaded the DieselGo app instead of the Google Wear app which led me to waste a good bit of time. in any case, follow the instructions on the watch, not the packaging.The installation was quick and painless. Unlike a few other apps, this one puts a good bit of effort into security which I was very pleased with. After walking through the install it walks you through how to use it.The watch face has different designs. You can use voice commands, but there is also a keyboard (but it’s honestly so small I cannot use it. Maybe a stylus would help, but then you need to carry a stylus with you everywhere? It’s watching and that is not convenient.).Features include a 2.5 inch round touchscreen display. Google’s Wear OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC, Heart Rate Tracking (supports Google Fit & 3rd party apps), GPS Distance Tracking: You don’t need a mobile while running or hiking. The watch will record everything using its built-in GPS, NFC enabled Payments, Assist on the Wrist: Ask questions or give commands to your Smartwatch via Google Assistant, Customizable Watch Faces, Weather Filters: Changes dial effects based on the changing weather conditions, Music Control, Water resistance up to 165 feet for short periods, Rapid Charging, and a battery life of up to 24 hours, depending on the usage. All in all, you get the abilities of a watch, a fitness watch, and a smartphone.

Esto es como una especie de pesadilla con este artículo, el problema radica que es el segundo que recibo, (tras un remplazo del mismo) y lo voy a regresar porque está presentando el mismo problema. La tapa inferior del sensor simplemente se despega. Realmente no he usado mucho este segundo reloj, pero por igual, en tres semanas se le acabó la magia y el problema surgió. Una verdadera lástima, por el reloj y la marca, un 10 a amazon que me ha comprendido en todo este proceso y ahora con todo su apoyo se está trabajando el rembolso del costo del producto. Saludos

After 3 months of use, the display of this watch starts flickering. Though it is under 2 years of warranty, I am unable to reach the service care of Diesel. Kindly help me to run this machine again.The watch looks cool, apart from that all other things are pretty average.
