I absolutly love this product, I have had this long enough to determine that this is indeed top notch and the best out there. I bought it at around 535, and honestly I would buy two of these if I had certain disposable liquid income. I would definitely say I have had no problems from the start-up to the lifespan running it day and night so far so good. I've tested every aspect you would for professional hi-def televisions and then even monitor calibrations. The color is the most accurate, and the sharpness and contrast are so crisp that until we have actual mass production laser Tv's everywhere this is the only screen you need. It would most likely with out doubt put any TV out there now to shame, I know that there are other monitors- but this just met every need and expectation blew it up in my face time's infinity. The only fault, although kinda small is there's no remote control. at the price-point you'd expect a remote control of sorts. No dice there. Onto the highlights, since its "white-glove" in a Asus brandbox arrival I have run a marathon of high def blu-ray and gaming on this and every-time it does not disappoint me, in fact does the opposite, since there was nothing wrong & right out the box it just works. My friends were amazed at the size and quality. I myself think that a true 27" is the future for those who game or love movies or both. They agreed, also they had said "This is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen in my life." (as far as tv's and monitors go) They even did it in "surround sound" all at once to, all 6 that were present, they all had said it in exact freaky tandum. Simply, they cant wait until I get a Mitsubishi Laservue and some 3d glases, but until then we can indeed wait. I'm in "heaven". Overall you gotta say buy this, best purchase I ever made. Easy.So the Good:+Very Godly like; Smooth & High Contrast Levels+Super Color accurate, as far as LED allows anyway...+PIP Display+HD 1080P+3.5mm Sound jack in/out+Adjustable 2 mega pixel webcam (should be 12 by now with tech, but meh-)The Bad-No remote... not that I can tell. oh well.The other thoughts:-stand is a pain to snap into place at first, but after that your solid...

The clarity of this monitor is great. Great for zoom calls and conferences.

Sono alcune settimane che ho acquistato il monitor. Finora sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Dopo aver regolato lo schermo attraverso i comandi posti sotto il monitor, devo dire che la qualità è soddisfacente sia per i filmati che per le fotografie. La Webcam funziona bene ed è possibile regolare l'inclinazione della stessa in caso la posizione del soggetto risulti in basso rispetto alla webcam. Per farla funzionare è necessario utilizzare il cavo USB oltre al cavo DVI per permettere di installare i drive dal cd in dotazione. Insomma finora un ottimo acquisto.

*Please note - If you have a newer Asus laptop that has the same camera built in as this monitor does they share the same driver and you will not be able to utilize the camera on the monitor without extensive tech support contact. You are able to switch the speaker output quite easily via the control panel but not the camera. A Pain!I purchase a lot of computer products, both online (primarily through Amazon or Costco)and at retail stores. That being said, I truly appreciate when I get fantastic customer service and conversely I abhor poor customer service.The monitor had a dead pixel right in the center of the screen about 20cm down from the top. The monitor was so lovely that I almost kept it regardless of the defect. During computer use it was not overly noticeable but during video playback it was annoying. I have several Asus monitors as well as computers and this is the first problem I have ever had with any of their products. FYI, Asus has an international warrenty where most brands do not. I have offices in the US and the UK and travel between the two so I prefer to buy Asus because I have not had any issues up until now and they cover the products they sell anywhere in the world.This was purchased from Bora Computer (Germany) through Amazon UK. It was ordered on Dec 21 and it arrived Dec 24. Amazing shipping time especially when you factor in the holiday shipping clogs. I contacted Bora Computer via email and they issued a return authorization straight away. They also said they would refund the return shipping costs. They refunded the initial amount as well as the return shipping (in separate transactions). I had to pick up another Monitor from Curry's as I need the monitor for work but I will order from Bora again. They were easy to deal with and they did what they claimed they would do. Outstanding customer service!As for the actual monitor...I use this monitor connected to my laptop, and Asus N56VZ. This has the Nvidia GeForce 650m GPU. It worked flawlessly with multiple connections. I tried VGA, HDMI, and Display Port. I found the DP was the best, followed by HDMI, and then VGA as one would expect. The display Port is buggy as in other reviews so HDMI was used.I cannot comment on the Asus IPS displays as I have not seen any, but for this type of monitor is outstanding. There is slight light bleed from the edges but at no point is it overly distracting and only noticeable during video playback and not on computer tasks and even then generally at night. The colors are fairly good straight out of the box for my needs. Again, I use this as a laptop extender and to watch video in my office during downtime. Blu ray discs are phenomenal! Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime video streaming are very good on this as well. (for those in the UK, Amazon Prime Video is an included benefit with an Amazon Prime membership in America - it is very similar to Netflix streaming video).I appologize for the randomness of this review. I do not normally write reviews but my highly positive experience with purchasing a monitor from a company in Germany has made me wish to do so. It is nice to see quality customer service.

Can't fault this so far, it is bright, vibrant, the webcam isn't too shabby (it is only a 2mp after all).Haven't tested the PiP yet but can't imagine there will be much to complain about there. some people have complained about the speakers being poor, for one, you shouldn't buy a monitor for it's small built-in speakers, secondly, it isn't too shabby considering the obvious small size of them, it has a bit of bass and does go a bit loud, it is a worthy addition to join with my pre-existing surround sound.The only issue I have with this monitor really is that it is only 1920x1080 - Going from a 24" monitor of the same resolution, the extra 3" seems massively wasted (I really didn't need my task bar 5mm longer!). Minor peeve in an otherwise decent monitor.

L'appareil est arrivé dans les délais prévus et en bon état.Ne pas hésiter à diminuer la luminosité et le contraste car par défaut c'est aveuglant.Par contre produit non adapté à l'utilisateur mac car la résolution nominale n'est pas atteinte, même si le hardware des 2 éléments le permet, mais surtout la webcam n'est pas fonctionnelle par défaut de driver.Donc bon écran mais merci de préciser les limites dues à l'OS, dommage de la part d'ASUS de ce manque d'ouverture.
