Q: Can this be atached to a septic tank lid and if so how ?

It threads into a standard 4" female pipe fitting. I have it installed on the cleanout port on the horizontal sewer pipe going into the septic tank.

Q: Do you carry these for 3" sewer pipe?

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Currently we do not carry a 3" Footloose Sewer Cap however, you may be able to use an adapter or bushing at your local plumbing store to go from 3" to 4". Our Female Footloose fits 4" SCH 40 PIPE and our Male Footloose fits 4" threaded coupling. Hope this helps. Happy New Year! - The Footloose Store
