Great product, recommend.
The media could not be loaded. This is the first review I make in which I include photos and video, I tried to include the most information possible. I personally had a hard time finding the right product to buy for teaching purposes for my 6 year old, he just turned six 2 days ago and I thought it was the perfect time to teach him to handle money. The full review is in the video, I made it as best as I could, hope it helps you, but I just have to say I recommend this product, it is a great tool and the quality is also great, the only thing I would add would be to have 50 cent and 1 dollar coins added, other than that, its pretty good and it looks really close to the real thing. I added a bunch of photos on top of the video so you can compare the real bills to the toy bills and coins.

Money looks real
The following is a dramatization. These events never occurred.I was trying to find money to swindle lemonade from neighborhood kids having a lemonade stand in their driveway. So I bought this money, thinking "I'll get them." This money looked so real that they never even noticed. Only after their mothers and fathers came to my house threatening to beat me up did I realize this was a bad idea. This money looks incredibly real. You could trick the neighborhood kids with it, but I wouldn't advise it. They have parents, and their parents have fists!

Love this set!
My children, ages 9, 6, and 3, all love to pretend play with the money. This set keeps them busy for hours at a time. The plastic box it comes in makes for neat play and it has a cover so it can be put away neatly as well. The dollar bills, coins, checkbook, and authentic looking credit cards made for a varied and fun pretend shopping experience for my children and their friends. Would definitely recommend!

Great facsimile play money toy
I got this set to initially use as a set for an Easter Egg Hunt Store. You know, stuff eggs with different coins or bills, let them shop for the bigger prizes after the egg gathering is over.My kids are chomping at the bit to use them to “play store.” And I am positive the Girl Scout Troop can use them for their Daisy/Brownie/Junior badge work for Money badges and leaves. They are a great facsimile that is obviously play money, but helps kids learn denominations by faces and size of coin, too. Very well designed. I am impressed.

Great money set to teach kids about money or just let them play with.
This is a great product for teaching your kid about currency. The bills & coins are the exact size as real $. However the coins are thicker than real coins. I suppose this was done so little kids could have an easier time manipulating them. I would've given it 5 stars for accuracy if the nickel was thicker than the other coins & also if the check book was the exact size (its small when I compared it to my checkbooks from 2 different banks). I know the coloring & texture of the bills are off (some appear more pinkish than real $) but I'm assuming this is because they're not trying to counterfeit $. There is some color variations between the bills (i.e. the 1s are different colors from the 5s & 10s, the 20s & 100s are different from the rest, etc.) But this mimics the color variations in real bills, so perfect. There is a "learn about money" sheet that shows what $1 is equivalent to. It mentions a half dollar which isn't included in the set. Personally, I think if you're going to mention something in a kids toy, you should include that item. But in the grand scheme of things encountering half dollar (and $2 bills) are rare enough that not including them aren't necessarily deal breakers for me.I brought this set to help teach my 6y/o about $ & responsibility. But because I rarely use cash & every thing over $5 given to him automatically gets deposited in this bank account (esp after he accidentally tore a $20 @ his bday party) its hard to teach him about $. This allows us to imitate real life senarios without using actual $.One thing I don't like about this set is that the checks aren't coated/reusable. Part of me gets that is more realistic, the other part of me wishes I could wipe them off to reuse. However, they include a lot so as long as your kid isn't the type who feels compelled to "immediately color every page of a coloring book" you should be able to have enough checks to last a while.

Perfect for the classroom!
I purchased these for a friend of mine who is a teacher, and she absolutely loved these! They are the same size as real bills and the coins are very realistic. The price is totally worth what you get. This set is well made and will last through multiple uses.
