It won't be one lost on the bottom unless you don't tie a good strong knot on your anchor line
If you fish the jetties are anywhere with rocks present. This is a must have anchor! Just make sure you take a small metal tube that can straighten out the tines if they bend while pulling it up. It won't be one lost on the bottom unless you don't tie a good strong knot on your anchor line. I suggest using a shackle to attach it to the anchor line. It is heavy enough you won' t need to add a chain.

Best Anchor for My Boat
This anchor is perfectly matched to my Grady White 232. It is important to get the recommended size anchor for hour boat if you want this kind of performance. My 16 pund Mighty Mite Wreck Anchor enables me to anchor directly above deep wrecks without having to anchor upwind with traditional anchors and hope for correct anchorage when I drift back over the wreck (often very difficult to achieve). I never worry about losing an anchor in a wreck as the power of my boat easily straightens out the tines on this anchor, which are readily recreated with a simple piece of pipe.

It does a fantastic job of finding a grip even on the sandiest ...
I purchased this anchor for my 17 ft Mako Skiff. It does a fantastic job of finding a grip even on the sandiest bottoms. I had a smaller one which was recommended for my boats size but seemed to be too light. No complaints here. This is a great anchor!

Very Nice
This is the perfect anchor for offshore wreck fishing. We set it our fisrt trip out and it anchored the boat like it should and held. The anchor did exaclty what it was supposed to by letting one one the hooks straighten to release the anchor. It was pulled up and the hook bent back and ready for the next drop.
