Q: Is this approved to work in pellet stove? If yes how to apply it?

This is a spray applied chemical. You spray it anywhere there is creosote. If you have it all over your exhaust port and exhaust blower you can spray it directly on the creosote, and it will remove it. You can wipe it off or brush it off, but you want to use gloves when working with it, it can irritate skin.

Q: Can this be used in an open fireplace? If not, why not?

Yes you can use it in an open fireplace. For the best results spray the split side of the wood and allow it to dry before placing it in the fire.

Q: If you spray the product on the walls of the smoke chamber, wait a day(s) for it to dry, then light a fire...will that remove the creosote?

I am not sure if it would, however I think that it shoud have some effect. The product does work well when used as instructed therefore if you have sufficient heat you should get the chemical reaction to achieve the desired results. I hope this helps you out

It should work fine, just make sure you keep off your skin and rinse any residue off with water.
