DecoArt DAG67-30 Americana Gloss Enamel Paint, 2-Ounce, Black

This is good for crafts. A little expensive but worked fairly well for my craft project.

This is my "go to" paint for many DYI crafts. Easy to apply and easy to clean up. I recently purchased a brown cat candle holder. I prefer black cats. Because of this paint I now have a black cat candle holder. This is great stuff. At work the cheap veneer was chipping on our cupboards and counter tops. This paint in a steel-blue color covered up the damage and made the chips unnoticeable from a distance. So many uses.

I've painted a few things with this, and have ordered more. It goes on thick and covers things well, though it often requires a second coat (after letting it dry properly!) The downside is that if you don't let it cure/set/dry for about a week it WILL scrape off or come off with water. It needs plenty of time but, I feel that its a worthwhile product, as long as you can be patient with it. Otherwise you'll likely be frustrated. (It says to cure for 4 days, but that's not enough. I live in a fairly dry climate and 7 days seems to do it.) Sidenote: I didn't bake any of the items as directed because none of them are oven-safe. I would still wait longer than recommended, though, since it seems that other reviewers have had a tough time with the directions on the bottle

Thick dark paint providing nice coverage. Only complaint is the item is advertised as 2 containers of 2 oz paint but only received 1 container. That's the reason for 4 stars. If the distributor corrects this error I will change my rating to 5 stars.

I needed a gloss enamel paint in black in this was needed in a project and I like this brand as well. DecoArt is a good brand.

A very good one coat black! I haven’t tried to remove it off of anything yet but it seems very long lasting and not easy to smudge 10/10
