These lanyards are a great accessory for any pocket PentagonLight, I was happy to find some for my X2 and X3 but after a month or so the thin thread loop that connects to the fastener of the lanyard broke and based on the reviews i see this is a common issue but all is not lost...I've included photos below of a simple fix, If you use a file to clean up the rough area after cutting off the locking tabs, the plastic D shaped part on the lanyard just so happens to slide perfectly over the pocket clip and has a secure hold and wont slip off due to the S bend in the pocket clip.

The string at the end that connects to the flashlight is way too thin. It snapped in the first week and dropped my EDC flashlight to the ground.
