Big Agnes mtnGLO LED Tent & Camping Lights

As always with Big Agnes the quality is as good as it gets. I bought the red version which runs off the supplied plug in 3xAAA battery pack. It can also be plugged directly into a self supplied battery pack via the integrated USB connector. As for the run time of triple AAA batteries I cannot comment (yet) as I’ve only used the 2meter long string of lights over two nights in my two msn mountaineering tent.They provide just about adequate light to read food labels - just enough. They are bright enough, though, for most activists within my tent whilst being very discrete. I hung them across the group are of four tents on night two and they were just bright enough to enable my friends to move around around without knocking over people’s drinks etc. The battery box is not weather resistant but could easily be placed in a zip lock bag & hung upside down to keep it dry. I would be happy to pay a little more to have this battery box rainproofed. Similarly, the hanging clips look pretty weak and could really benefit by adding two more.I have not used the lights in the supplied bag as it would rob too much light.
