Perfect replacement
Perfect exact fit for my older HP Envy 15" laptop.Comes with tools. Took me about 30 minutes total to disable the rear panel, replace the battery and put it all back together. Battery performs as expected and arrived with instructions to calibrate the battery. Runs cool with about 5 hours charge during normal use.

good package, fast delivery. They even included a screwdriver. At first I thought I did something wrong, dead battery. It needed to charge for a very long time. Time will tell, for now great.

Relatively easy to install and works perfectly.
The installation was a bit of a challenge, but nothing terribly difficult. Having the right tools makes ALL the difference.Once installed, the battery charged up and held the charge.In use, I'm getting about 8 hours of screen-on time, which I consider to be excellent. Time will tell if the battery continues to perform at that level. I do expect some degradation - 5 to 10 per cent over time.

I bought 4 of these batteries and used with 2 different laptops. Please read!
Summary of Review:The batteries last 4 - 5 hours on a single charge, as long as you:1. Don't buy the batteries during cold winter months (below 32 degrees during shipment)2. Don't use the batteries in a defective laptop.Longer version of my review:I bought 2 of these around May, 2022. One for my laptop and one for my mother's laptop. We both have the same HP Envy 15 laptop. While playing a long YouTube video with sound low and screen brightness set 1 value from max, I got around 5 hours of battery life. However, after 7 months, the battery in my mother's laptop would no longer take a charge.In December, 2022, I bought a new 3rd battery, but put the known good battery from my laptop, into my mother's laptop. I put the new battery into my laptop.The "known good" battery in my mother's laptop died within a few weeks. I now believe something is wrong with my mother's laptop, as it is ate two of these batteries.The 3rd new battery went into my laptop. This one only lasts about 30 minutes on a full charge (yes, after calibration). I believe this is because the battery was outside for a few hours at 3 degrees Fahrenheit (Minnesota weather) when delivered... I contacted the seller and they gave a full refund for the 3rd battery, without requiring me to ship it back, which is a HUGE plus.I waited until April 2023, when the temps were warmer to buy my 4th battery. This one is good and under the same test is lasting between 4 - 5 hours.

Doesn't charge. Waste of money.
First cycle it only charged to 87%. Second cycle it only charged to 53%. Third cycle it only charged to 4%. Fourth cycle it charged to 0% and immediately after unplugging it died. Absolute waste of money.
