Perfect fit with a little snipping necessary
This is the 2nd TYC air filter I've purchased. The 1st one was for my Honda CRV, which fit great, so I purchased this one for my Honda Fit. Easier to replace than my old CRV.As others have noted, the TYC filter has three strips of glue and require an easy snipping of the adhesive on the opposite ends. What you want is to be able to have the end walls separate from the rest of the pleats so you can seat the filter properly into the frame. It is a very easy step, a scissor or a knife will work, you may even be able to tear and separate the adhesive with your hands if you are careful enough. It's so simple, I wouldn't even dock it any stars. So, on the Fit, open your glove compartment, take out all the junk you have in there, just squeeze in the sides of the glovebox walls, drop the glovebox lower (it's hinged so it won't fall off) and you have access to the cabin filter frame in the back. Release the left and right clips and slide out the frame with the air filter. Replace with new filter and put everything back together.Remember to note the direction of the air flow (I believe it's downward) and remember to seat the filter properly. You should see a little "lip" like protruding plastic part on the frame (opposite ends). Slide your filter into this part (both ends), you want to do so or there will be air that can possibly get bypass the filter. It is because of this part on the frame and the full coverage of adhesive on the TYC filter that causes a conflict.UPDATE 4/1/15: added for reference, Honda OEM Part Number is 80292-TF0-G01Please let me know if my review have been helpful to you, it will encourage me to continue writing and updating my reviews, and leave a comment if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer if I can be of help.

Perfect for my 2009 Honda Fit Sport
Clean air is always important to me, so I make a point of changing my cabin air filter once a year as recommended. I only drive about 2500 miles a year, so that works out for me, the filter is dirty by then without being totally black. I have so many filters to change (shower head, air purifiers, water, car) that it would be hard to remember when to change what, so I have a ‘filters’ note on Evernote to remind me. This is a fine filter at a good price! It was easy to fold in sides of glove compartment door, then just push IN the side brackets on the filter compartment and pull out. Pop in filter with arrow pointed down and you’re all set! You can even add a drop off essential oil to it for scent and air sanitizing.

Perfect, Inexspensive Replacement
CABIN Air Filters are filters that keep the quality of the air in the vehicle clean and need to be changed to keep clean quality air circulating. Do not mistake these for air filters for the engine of the car. These are cheaper than purcahsing from the dealer. I beleive these cabin airfilters should be changed every 15,000 miles but consult your manual. EASY TO INSTALL, even a caveman can do it. Instruction to change the cabin air filter on the Honda Fit are located on Youtube and it may take about 5 minutes. 3 ribs on the cabin filter do need to be snipped to fit perfectly in the housing, but at 15 dollars a piece, these can not be beat. These do have a FLOW Direction printed on the side of the filter so that the air flows through it in the proper direction.

Purchased for my 2010 Honda Fit (non Sport)
If you need to replace your cabin air filter DO NOT take your car to the dealer as they will more than likely quote you an insane ($115 at my local dealer) price that will only take you 5 minuets if that to do yourself. This filter works perfectly as it is the right shape and in the box it even comes with instructions. The only minor problem is that you will have to make a minor modification with the filter which is that you will have to cut one row on each end of the plastic line that goes across the filter to set it in housing properly. It isn't a big deal though it is something that you will need to do extra. This is an easy job that EVERYONE can do on their own and doesn't take any mechanical experience to accomplish. I RECOMMEND this for your Honda FIT as it does the job right.

It works
Not sure what to say, but, this was my first time installing this product and it was extremely simple. Pop the old one out. Pop this in and voila. Good to go. Took maybe 5 minutes to do the switch.

Good price and easy to install
I figure it's about time to teach the teenager kid how to take care of their joy ride Honda Fit and show the viewers how easy to install a part that dealers want $45 to perform. Well, my 16 year old did it in 5 minutes following my verbal instructions. It did NOT require to cut 3 tabs as other reviews mentioned and fits perfectly. Make sure the FLOW arrow is pointed DOWNWARD which is label on the filter's side. Filter paper is thin but as long as it filter out pollen, exhausted gas, and filthy leaves, I'm happy.

Perfect!
It is stated for my Honda Fit 2010 Sport that I had to clip 3 rows to fit it into the filter frame. I did not. It was easy to slide in and perfect. Its stated to change every 15000 miles. I was just over 25k and I am a postal carrier..and it has done wonders for the inside air of the car! thanks so much, will buy from this site in the future. I had priced them at 3 different auto stores all ranging from 17$ to 35$... however..the shipping/handling fees that they charged all brought them up to the same cost....too expensive!

Great filter.
Great product. The filter was an exact replacement of the cabin filter element already installed by our Honda dealer.Installation in our 2010 Honda Fit was easy and took about 5 minutes;1. Empty glove box2. Squeeze top sides of open glove box inward until the box comes out toward you and hinges downward.3. Squeeze side plastic locks of filter cover inside inward and remove the filter element container by pulling it out toward you.4. Replace the element into the container paying attention to the arrow indicating correct air flow on the cover.5. Replace everything. We did notice that the ribs on the filter element installed by Honda did not align with the notches on the tabs at each end of the filter cartridge. So we carefully cut notches where the element ribs were. So now, the air filter assembly is even better than the Honda installation!

Fits my 2016 civic sedan perfectly.
I installed this in my 2016 honda civic sedan. Everything fit perfectly fine without any issues when swapping out my original one. When you install it, just make sure you pay attention to the airflow direction arrow that's printed on the filter as the arrow should be pointed downwards when installed.

Really easy!
Fits almost perfectly in Honda Fit 2009... I only had to cut the plastic glue at the first row each side to get the filter all way in the filter rack. Really easy!
