Perfect jug from a reputed and reliable brand - Borosil 1L Marina Jug
This a 100% Borosilicate jug perfect for drinking water (or any other liquid). I like the clean look, no fancy design anywhere on the surface or the lid hence easy to clean. It is quite light and that helps. When filled with water the overall weight is good enough to handle during pour...especially for elders and children. The glass handle is very sturdy. The lid has a soft inner ring which locks in tight when you close it.Borosil says it's 100% Microwaveable. I have not tried that and don't intend to. But yes I have other similar Borosil products and they are for sure Microwaveable.Geat looks, easy to clean... totally recommended.Glass is fragile...thin or thick. If you are looking for something indistructive...then go for plastic or metal. 😀

It looks classy but I am not happy with its lid.
They could have given wooden or a glass lid with it, to give it a perfect look because plastic lid seems really cheap. So, I'm using it without lid and jar looks perfect.

Slim, Classy and Durable
Borosilicate looks and feels just like glass, but has the advantage of being a lot more shatter resistant, which is pretty useful for clumsy people like me. Slim enough to fit in the bottle tray of most fridges. Well balanced at the handle point.Mind you though, the body of the bottle does fog up in the fridge, making it very obvious that it's not glass. Not remotely an issue for me, but can be for a point of consideration for people seeking that perfect crystal clear glass aesthetic when hosting.
