Heatilator / Heat n Glo Pilot Assembly 2103-010 Natural Gas

Worked great as a replacement pilot unit in our heatilator natural gas fireplace. Took about an hour to install myself as a DIY project.

Perfect fit

The part fit perfectly and worked great.

I had a company come out to do maintenance on my fireplace. They wanted $350.00 to replace the pilot light assembly. I'm a handywoman, so I ordered this assembly and installed it myself. You'll need a 3/8" and 7/16" open-end wrench, phillips screwdriver and a socket set (to remove and reinstall the sheet metal screws that hold the assembly to the fireplace). Other than the tiny space the fireplace company's give you for access, it was very easy to install and the pilot light lit on the first push of the starter. I highly recommend!

Seems to be good quality - works as expected.

The pilot assembly was exactly as advertised. Replacing such a unit yourself requires some patience and skill. Just removing the original unit is a challenge but doable. The mounting bracket on the new was not exactly as the old (my fireplace is 15 years old so that might have been my issue) but I made it work securely and we were back and running on the first try. I'd definitely recommend.

Ordered the wrong part

I was able to install myself. Easy to do as long as you leave old one on as you take off. So that you know how to put each wire in. Had a little problem putting electric backwards but very happy to have a working fire place again!
