Nikon AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens, Black [Nital Card

This is an excellent lens for the price in every sense bar the plastic mount which we will see if it stands up to the test of time. Fortunately I do not see me changes lenses that often so hopefully will not be a problem. In terms of performance meets all my expectation and is of the quality one would expect from Nikon.

I love this lens, it works really well paired with my Nikon D5500 camera. I think there has been an overall price reduction recently but price on Amazon a while back was the trigger I needed to purchase.Adds a new dimension to amateur/semi-pro photography. Nikon build quality and an essential lens for any kit!

Have wanted a wide angle lens for a while now to improve my landscape photography skills. For the money this is outstanding value! Unbelievably sharp, light and compact. To get VR for this sort of price is amazing. Yes the mount is plastic and you have to control the VR and auto/manual focus via the in camera menu, but for this sort of money there has to be a trade off. If you want all the bells and whistles then you’ll be paying 3 times as much. I am currently running the most up to date firmware, so had none of the reported issues regarding the VR and focusing controls. I cannot recommend this lens enough. Just buy it, you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful lens, very happy...great pictures and also used for 360 photography. Auto Focus works like stock lens and overall happy with this lens.

For a non-professional, all I needed to know what that it was by Nikon and fit their (my) camera system nicely.

So far, so good with this lens. It takes better really good pics. I still need to learn to use it better, so I would imagine the pics will get even better.

Dieses Objektive ist sehr gute Qualitaet.Ich benutze es in Zusammenhang mit meiner Nikon Z50 und daher auch mit FTZII Adapter (F-mount To Z-mount adapter).!0-20mm ist ideal fuer Innenraumfotografie. 10 mm gibt keine Verzerrung (109' Bildwinkel) wie zB ein 7.5mm Fisheye Objektiv (>180' Bildwinkel). Man kann aber auch nicht ein kleines Badezimmer (nur Toilette) fotografieren, dafuer braucht man schon ein 7.5 mm Fisheye wie zB von Meike angeboten wird.Der 10-20 mm Bereich ist sehr gut fuer Innenraeume. Draussen wuerde ich es selten verwenden da meine anderen Objektive von 18-140mm (Z-mount) und ein tolles Fmount von 18-200mm mir wesentlich mehr Flexibilitaet geben.Trotzdem, vielleicht will man irgendwann mal die 10mm "haben" fuer den perfekten Landschafts shot. Fuer Reisen nutze ich entweder 18mm-140mm als minimum, oder dieses 10-20mm plus 18-200mm als Luxus reise Version. Luxus luxus noch das 7.5 mm Meike dazu.Natuerlich ist dieses Objektiv auch super fuer Landschaftsfotografie wenn man in den Bergen zB (wie ich in Oesterreich) nutzt, da es eben 10-20 mm Ultraweitwinkel Brennweite (bis zu 109' Bildwinkel bei 10mm) hat.Fuer mich sind diese Objektive gut ohne Blitz weil die Nikon Z50 eine ultra lichtempfindliche Kamera ist und selbst mit all diesen Objektiven ohne Blitz im Haus fotografiert werden kann.Fuer eine normale DSLR (ich habe auch eine D7000) kann man das komplett vergessen.Diese Bewertung ist daher vorwiegend auf die Nikon Z-serie von Kameras bezogen von Z30 ab mit DX sensor. Aber auch nutzbar mit Zformat full frame (aber gecropped).Empfehle dieses Objektiv als Mus fuer Innenraumfotografie. Zum Reisen wuerde ich dieses nach einem 18mm-140mm wenigstens und nach einem 7,5 mm Fisheye als drittes "Minimum"objektiv waehlen.
