WellmanGlow Plugs Fast Start Glowplugs Set of 8 compatible with 06-11 GMC & Chevy 3500 & 2500 6.6L DURAMAX LLY & LBZ

I bought a set of 8 of these and my truck smoked, cracked, popped, you name it when I started it cold. I went to GM and bought a set of 8 oem glow plugs now truck starts and idles smooth on a cold start. TO YOU PEOPLE THAT ARE WONDERING IF THEY WORK THE ANSWER IS, NO they do not but however the check engine light didn’t come on so it some how fools the vehicle

I replaced 2 glow plugs with OEM glow plugs with no problems. With the third bad glow plug, I decided to replace all with non OEM glow plugs. The Wellman glow plugs will set the code for a bad glow plug about every 5th engine start. I don't know if the glow plugs are not working or if the truck computer doesn't like them. The end result is that the check engine light is on all of the time. I will spend the extra money for OEM and replace the Wellman glow plugs with OEM glow plugs.

I’m an OEM parts guy but saw that these were an America made product. I read the reviews and took a chance. I could not be more pleased with these glow plugs. They work excellent and the quality and uniformity are honestly better than factory parts. The headline says it all “The Good Stuff”

Easy install to take care of a bad element and have performed well for the several months they have been running.

All checked well for voltage. We saw other reviews of bad plugs. All 8 were good and are now installed.

Worked great on my 2006 Duramax. No more CEL.
