Defender Seagull Spikes Pack | 40 m | Glue | Gull Control Guide | Various Size Packs

We used to have seagulls that perched on the top of our extension and wait for us to leave the backdoor open so that they could then come into the kitchen. Since fitting the spikes we've had no gulls on the extension at all. They seem sturdy, they've been up for 6 months now and don't look like they're going to break. the 12m box was exactly the right length for us, which was good because buying individual strips can be expensive.

I fitted these to prevent seagulls from nesting on our chimney, they’re really good quality and easy to fit, although, as well as the silicone that came with the spikes, I screwed them down to be doubly sure that they won’t come off.

This is my second season with Herring Gulls trying to nest between the roof ridge and the top of solar panels. I bit the bullet and invested in these Gull spikes hoping that they would stay in place, and prevent me having to clim the roof 4 times year. They had to be fitted to the ridge at 45 degrees to keep the birds out of the panels and I worried that the silicone would not hold at that angle. Installing on the roof is tricky, but I did a tester at ground lever, with the rest going up 2 days later.I took extra care to wire brush the rough terracotta type tiles and remove bird nest debris, and that took the longest. These things went on a treat and the neighbours are maintaining a watching brief before they get the same??

Cornwall - Our neighbour started feeding seagulls! It took a while to deter them, meanwhile the seagulls had young and trained their babies, (and grandbabies!) to come to their balcony. Unfortunately, the seagulls would also land on our balcony, balcony rail and wall, and also garden wall. Poop everywhere. Noisey early hours and after dark! The neighbour the otherside used these and recommended them. So easy to apply. We stuck them directly on the garden wall and on the led work on top of the dividing wall at balcony level with the glue given. We screwed them to sections of battens of wood and held these in place with reusable cable ties on top of the metal balcony rail. This was so that we can remove them if we want to, eg visiting young children on the balcony. Once the seagulls got the message they stopped coming. (helped by the lack of feeding) but also they can't land now even to squark for food, so product has done the job. We will keep them in place as the property is close to the Cornish coast so the gulls often come inland searching for easy food. We would highly recommend these.

Bought this pack. Plenty of spikes but the glue was useless. Wasn’t enough glue so bought more from the local hardware shop. All those put up with the supplied glue blew off in the wind. All those with glue I bought are still in place. Buy the spikes and your own glue.

These do the job have had these previously on one roof still on the roof after some years very good

We were fed up of the seagull’s sitting on and messing our new roof but thanks to the seagull spikes we no longer have this problem.
