Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament 2018 Year Dated, All I Want for Christmas Is You Mariah Carey Snowflake With Music

Bought this for my boyfriend who loves Mariah Carey, he loved it. Very quick shipping, ornament came in good condition with new batteries included.

Honestly, I was trying to find a last minute ornament for a Christmas party I decided to attend. It arrived just as promised. It wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting something pretty, simple, and small. I was surprised when I opened my package to find this ornament. It was pretty big for an ornament and the box said it played music, so I opened the box to see. A corroded button battery fell out of the box. It was sitting in a clear plastic container with an unglued green backing to hold it in place. When I tried the ornament, it didn't work. So I assumed the battery included was meant to go inside, but there was just one, and it was corroded. Perhaps, the battery was accidentally included. I went to buy batteries for it, and it worked perfectly. In the end, the person who received it liked it, so I guess that's all that really matters in the end. I'm just glad I was the first person to open that box.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a must have for any MC fan. See the video, that is pure sound from the ornament itself. I wish there was a feature in which I could turn it to play in intervals like every hour but thats ok. Its also plastic but that makes it durable and probably better for the sound anyway rather than gas or ceramic. Its cute and I like it.

I didn’t realize it’s plastic....but it’s in the description. Also it comes wrapped in tissue paper, which I found suspicious. I looked up videos of people unboxing this ornament and they all come like that. It took me a while to find the “button”....it’s on the side of the ornament. Flat side of the battery goes towards the spring. I hope this others that were disappointed at first. Pretty good value for the price. It’s proudly displayed as my tree topper, cause I have a small tree.

the ornament is very pretty, however I was very disappointed that it only plays about 30 seconds of the song. I don't remember that detail mentioned in the description. I was expecting to hear the whole song. It was a Christmas gift.

Very large for an ornament. You can hear the song loud and clear.

Looks great and tune sounds good.Reason for 4 stars is only because it needs 2 batteries, only 1 came. Also the back which houses the batteries needs a tiny screwdriver and is tricky!! Lastly there's a miniscule hole to hang ornament up but no hook or ribbon/string comes with it.
