Great addition to Sous Vide

Great product, great price, but it doesn't fit the Pro model of the Anova. Returning to see if I can find something else

It can be annoying to get this on as it is just a little too small.It works. The price was ok.I just wish it was a few millimeters bigger.

I recently made the plunge into the world of sous vide, and picked up a couple items to make it easier. I bought the rubbermaid container and decided to choose this lid, because I figured it would be flexible and would be more likely to provide a better seal.If you have the Anova Nano, make sure you get the Nano version of this product! Something went wrong with my first order and I was sent the wrong size. When you receive it, inspect that it says Nano on it and visually make sure that it's approximately the same diameter as the Nano. There's been quite a few pictures submitted by people who clearly had the lid that was meant for the other model. Luckily it was easy to return, and when I received the correct one I tried it again, and it was a perfect fit!This lid hugs the nano. There was nearly no water loss after holding my steaks at 130 for two hours, so I'm very excited to experiment even more. At first I couldn't decide between the corner mount lid or the side mount lid, so I figured I'd pick up the corner one for now, and if there were ever a need or itch, then I'd give the side mount a try.It's a 5-star product, and works perfectly. Hey all...I know we are supposed to read through the entire review...but...it's the holidays, we get gifts that require us buying other things, etc...In my case: I was gifted a sous vide and...I didn't have a container I could use it with. SO...I started looking around and there's a million options. I chose this option based on the PICTURE: A container and a lid (I knew I needed a lid because I tried to use the sous vide with a pot and the water evaporated and ruined a meal that I was cooking over night). I didn't read all the fine print. I just knew I'd ruined a meal and wanted to make up for it. This produce is JUST the lid. Not sure why it shows up as the first search item for a "Sous Vide" container/sealed cooking pot, but...it did. So...buyer beware. And I'm fine to be called stupid. Call it holidaze shopping, but...I'm not normally this bad. Thought the picture was significantly misleading.

Perfect fit to the Rubbermaid container and the Anova Nano. I went with this lid rather than the lid and container combo because I didn't like the lip on the container from EVERIE.I like that the silicone lid flexes and allows me to open the lid halfway. It's a much better solution than the weak thin hinge of their plastic version. It is also nice because it can conform around the plastic Ziploc bag opening that I like to hang off the lip of the container.It served it's intended purpose of reducing evaporation and the need to top up the container with water during longer cook times.

This fits the Rubbermaid 12 quart sous vide tub perfectly. I have the Anova sous vide cooker and opted for the corner configuration.I love this thing and I use it all the time. It keeps the heat in and best of all, the water doesn't evaporate away as quickly on long cooks because the steam collects on this lid, condenses, and falls right back into the water.It is a very simple product done well. If you have or are buying the tub this fits, I recommend you buy this.

This lid works great with my rubbermade container and my sous vide nano. I got the one for the corner attachment so that I could have more sides to hook my food onto and it’s perfect. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to remember to put the lid on and THEN hook my sous vide onto the side of the container. I wish the lid slid around the sous vide and then snapped onto the container, so that if I forgot to put it on first it wouldn’t matter. It’s fine though. Fits my container perfectly! Would recommend.

the item is pretty much exactly as described and fits the rubbermaid container exactly. the plastic on it is a little more flimsy than anticipated so i'm not sure about durability.
