Q: Do the Gloves have good grip

Grip OK. Using them for cycling.

Q: will these gloves burst into flames like in the photo?

Not happened yet but I've only worn them 4 times so I'm still hopeful

Q: Can I use them to touch home button on iPhone 8?

They work fine on touch screen, but won't work on fingerprint scanner

Q: Im a carpenter and use all sorts of hand tools and power tools. Would these be restrictive or ar they quite flexable?

Unfortunately the stitching is coming away on mine after first use. Regardless they have a good grip but they do tend to want to spring back to a flat state. The tips of the forefingers are touch screen friendly if that helps, so you can keep them on and answer the mobile if you're on site.
