This bird feeder replaces our plastic seed feeder,so it has taken 2 weeks of it been up for all the sparrows to stop their baby tantrums and start to use it.likewise with the robins and bluetits,it is the same seed,and in the same place.Now they love it,and have seen about 4 on it at once,however they still throw a bit out for the others waiting on the ground to eat,good game i suppose.Seed stays dry up till now,I may seal the top a bit more,although this wire on top is on a pully system,opens the top to fill the seeds up.holds a good amount compared to the average plastic feeders.It also looks good.
