American Indian foraging, history, migration through one woman's family ancestory and her visual recollections...Nice!
This is a nice little book 100 pages. It traces this one woman's recollections and foragingback to 1939. It also incorporates some history of California American Indians from themid 1800's when they were sent on the death walk due to the Gold Rush. It is written like fiction with some nice imagery.I never would have guessed that few would return to their homes to find Phillipinos had moved in.
