Creative Grids Cat's Cradle Tool Quilt Ruler - CGRDH1

I love using this ruler. I have not made Cat's Cradle, but I have used it on Crazy Ann, Old Maid's Puzzle, Pershing, and other standard blocks. No fabric waste, measurements for cut pieces and finished size are on the ruler. You get two perfect triangle-square-triangle corners with each cut, so you save lots of time, and you never cut a triangle. The ruler designer is a genius! Easy to understand instructions with diagrams for each step come with the ruler. I found the You tube video helpful to see how the designer used the ruler. I ordered the one that goes up to a 4 inch finished block, but will be ordering the extra large that goes up to 10 inches.

This is a handy ruler for creating this component of many blocks without having to cut triangles and piece them. Time and accuracy Saver

I'm making my first quilt making the blocks with this Cat's Cradle ruler... and it's coming out so accurate and easy to do! Even working on another project at the same time, I'm able to square up part of a block very easily with this ruler! Love it.

I had purchased the book to make patterns using this ruler. Instructions were not in the book, so I had to purchase the ruler to get the manufacturers instructions. I am already over-rulered, like many quilters and really did not need another ruler. That being said, it does simplify making the Cat's Cradle block. I just hope there is more pattern support for the ruler.

Great that they have the measurements on the ruler, don't have to look at the instruction for the size. I haven't used it yet but I bought the large ruler also, and have started to use that. I like the bigger blocks.
