4G Great China 15 Days Data SIM 5GB FUP

Bought this for a trip to HK in April 2023. Double checked with seller after purchase as the date on the package shows expired and was told it’s extended and no problem. Can’t activate at all when I am in HK and called customer services and was told it’s expired and not valid anymore. Totally waste of money and time. Don’t buy and avoid this seller!!

It's a simple data sim card alternative when traveling to Asia. Installation is easy, simple plug and play. Downloading rate is great, and the limit was way beyond my needs. It's charge is much less than turning on att/Verizon international roaming services, awesome money saver. The only downside is that you can use it to make phone calls. I don't need this anyway. It also comes with an expiration date. Pay attention to that. One of the card I bought for impacted sure to COVID-19.

The card was easy to install and worked immediately when I landed in Shanghai Pudong. The Phone has to be unlocked - ensure that this is the case. Easy to pop out the SIM and pop this one. Connected readily and was ready to go after entering the "phone number". I could not check how much was the actual GB that I used, but i was able to use the card for the period i was in China.

Was mainly used for my phone gps and to keep up with email and worked perfectly for that and for google translate.Could not be used to make any phone calls because people in the mainland could not answer calls from my Hong Kong number and also each day, sometimes multiple times, had to re-accept the services -- but these were non-issues for me.

the delivery is fast but in the package it requires to activate by 6/30, about 10 days after delivery and you can only activate when you at your destination, so basically this is a 2GB for 15 days data card. i give 2 stars for now as it failed to mention the condition. i don't even know how and if it will work when i in china on jul 2 at this time. the main reason i brought this card here is some people said the sim card brought outside china will be allowed to have access to fb, gmail, etc. will review again on whether this is true or not.

Traveling to China and wanted a product that could make my unlocked phone work during my visit. I bought this product based on the reviews. I showed it to my friend who speaks Chinese and she says “this says to use by 8/1/19” Not reading Chinese I did not know that this SIM card is expired. I am a lazy consumer who doesn’t like to spend the effort to send most products back. Shame on the retailer for sending out of date SIM cards and shame on Amazon for taking at face value that the product is what it was advertised to be! Don’t buy this product

I bought it from Amazon and hoped to use it in China during my two-week visit there.The card says 4G network. But it actually shows 3G. I visited Shanghai, Suzhou, and Changchun.I could not do anything with it. I contacted the service center and they told me they wouldreset the card and made it work. But nothing happened. Not only did it waste my money but also causedsignificant inconvenience. Don't buy this SIM card.

This is THE trouble free and foolproof solution if you plan to travel to China and stay connected.The package contains the sim card in a flexible form to fit into three sizes of card slots. Also, it has a pin included for you to pop out your phone's card holder so you have everything.After your landing in China, just turn off your phone, put the card in, turn on the phone and configure the settings to add 3gp, then enable roaming (a detailed instruction is included in the package).Wait for about 5~10 min (ignore the possible original phone plan carrier's 'missing signal' warnings), you'll see the LTE/4G signal. The coverage is amazing even in a remote mountain area. Surfing speed is enough for me to watch YouTube. When the 2GB LTE data is used up, the slower unlimited 2G signal is not good for video streaming but still OK for voice (wechat talk, etc), mobile payments (wechat, alipay) and other stuff.Will definitely buy again!
