Works great, cleans well
Plastic bristles are firm enough to clean the residue out of my plastic feeder, but soft enough not to scratch it. I had forgotten how clear the plastic was. It has looked cloudy for quite some time. All it took was this brush and some warm water and now the container is crystal clear again. The end of the brush it bent so you can get it into the corners. I am pleased with this brush and now I have an extra one since they come as a pair. As another customer commented, I am glad I spent a little more to get the right tool for the job.

Not for 8oc humming bird feeder!
I wanted to use these brushes for my 8oz humming bird feeder. Unfortunately the neck of the popular 8oz feeder is too narrow for those brushes.I will keep these well made brushes until I find an application. For the time being I have to use pipe cleaners to clean the 8oz feeder. The brushes are waiting in my kitchen drawer until the unforeseen need arises.

Hummingbird Feeder Bottle Brush
I use these brushes to clean my Best-1 32oz glass bottle hummingbird feeders. We live on a migratory route and in the spring, we have at least 8 feeders hanging and have to fill them all up at least once a day (and could easily have 8 more hanging and they'd all be full of hummers! -- It's like a full-time job!!!). Even now, during the summer when most of the others have moved on up North, we still have 4 feeders up and fill them every day. We have at least a couple hundred hummingbirds that spend their summers with us. We go through A LOT of sugar! I needed some means to keep the insides of the bottles clean and found these brushes. I had been using a regular baby bottle brush that worked quite well, but just wasn't long enough to get all the way to the bottom of the bottle. When I first got these new brushes, I wasn't sure I was going to like them because they are quite flexible, but I soon figured out to simply ignore the red handle at the top and just hold onto the wire in the middle of the brush. This effectively makes the brush "stiffer" when cleaning the bottles. I also bent the bristle part of the brush into a slightly more curved shape to make it easier to clean the inside shoulders of the bottles. All in all, these brushes work for the designated purpose and I would recommend them to others.

the quality of the brushes is good, however if you are looking for something to clean a standard hummingbird feeder with a small neck, the brush doesn't fit. These are good for the larger mouthed feeders.

Yay, a solution to the problem of how in the world do you clean out a hummingbird feeder. We love hanging our feeders outside our windows and watching the birds come in for a landing to drink. Sometimes traffic becomes heavy and we've started buying larger bags of sugar, but it's worth it. This feeder cleaner does the job of cleaning the inside. I had tried all kinds of tools but was very frustrated. These brushes are small enough to go inside the small opening and are bendable to clean along the curvy sides.

Don’t bother
Brush far too small for scrubbing inside of hummingbird feeder. Scrub brush falling apart. Red pieces of plastic getting stuck in pieces of feeder.
